It was a nice simple, well kept homestay in the centre of the city.

Just need to remember that although the shower is right outside the door it is still shared

Cozy and private – one of the best dorm stays! I stayed in the dorm at Coucou Homestead I for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Each bed has its own curtain, reading light, power socket, and locker, so it still feels private even in a shared space. The house is clean, peaceful, and tucked in a quiet alley, but just a short walk to Bui Vien Street. They even offer simple breakfast with homemade jam – such a sweet touch! It’s not just a budget stay – it’s a place that feels like home. Highly recommended!

All the staff is nice with us, but They really Can’t speak english 😅 So was almost impossibile to comunicate with them (I’m Italian).

Our group of friends booked the entire dorm and it was perfect. The room was spotless, beds comfortable, and the eco-friendly touches around the homestay made it even better. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We really appreciated how attentive and caring they were. The house itself is filled with plants, giving such a fresh vibe. It felt like our own little home in Saigon.

If you stay in the dorm, you may end up with either loud people in the late nite, people that turn on AC at the max and so on, so just be aware that additional patience is required ka

I think the fact that there is only 2 bathrooms brings the rating of this property down on here. As it definitely deserves more than it has. Sometimes it can be a little busy with using the bathrooms, especially in the morning or evening but with a slight adpation all is well. There is nothing they can really do to change this situation anyway.

I wanted to be near Bui Vien for the fun, but also have quiet at night – and this place was perfect. Only 5 minutes’ walk to the nightlife, yet the homestay itself was calm and peaceful. The staff were attentive and caring. The eco-friendly vibe with plants around the house made it feel like an oasis in the city

As a solo traveler, I loved the common area where people could gather. We ended up cooking and sharing meals together, thanks to the cozy atmosphere. The host and team were wonderful, very thoughtful and always ready to help. The place is full of plants, clean, and really feels like a home away from home

the entrance door is locked with a password and is super heavy. was a little hard to open it after they lock it during the night

Very lovely place and brilliant value for money. We stayed in a room with private bathroom on top floor of the building when it was 37 degrees outside yet the aircon did it's job and room was always cool. Spacious place, cute decor and nice little touches like toothpaste and hair brushes provided. The team running the place need a special shout out - they were super friendly and helpful, carried our heavy bags from the room, called us cabs, answered questions, stored bags while we were out after check out.. People are the real jewel of Vietnam ❤️
