The room was very good, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. They also provided us with a bed for the baby which was good. Breakfast exceeded our expectations as the reality was much better than the pictures they show.

There was only one small issue. Our room smelled like cigarettes (the original ones, not vapes or iqos) even though it was a non smoking room. We immediately told reception but unfortunately they did not have other rooms available with the same size. We left a window open and after coming back from dinner, the smell was not so intense.

The room was actually an apartment with a separate kitchen area, a sitting area and a sleeping area, and a balcony. The staff was kind and attentive, the hotel's location is good, just a short walk from Banská Bystrica mesto train station, a short walk in the other direction from the central SNP Square, and next door to the State Opera! Wifi connection good and the big complimentary mineral water bottle was a nice touch.

Check-out time 10 AM!! I know this is very common in both Slovak and Czech hotels but it is really not up to modern hotel standard! And the café staff got a bit angry when I came down for breakfast like 40 minutes before the breakfast service ended, then they thought it was too late to refill the buffet; obviously you are supposed to rise-and-shine at 6 AM also during your vacation?

There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The disabled access room was really comfortable with a wardrobe, safe, sofa, TV, coffee table, large wet room and plenty of space to move around.

The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been if the large showerhead had worked, however there was a lower smaller shower head that we managed to rig up above our head that did the trick.

The best! Easy 15 min walk from the bus station, Old Town right around the corner , coffee shops and restaurants all less than 4 min away. I loved the equipped kitchen, the space, and the quiet in the large room. The reception staff are so helpful and nice and just made my stay fun and fabulous. I loved this hotel and would always recommend it. Note that a tasty breakfast is included.

Bathroom standard ok just bath needs some plastic curtain or glass wall that the water is not everywhere after shower. Otherwise would be 10

The bathroom shower was a not adequate. A walk in shower would have been more adequate and safer, especially if you were an older person.

We stayed at the Deluxe Suite and it was everything we could have hoped for. Beautiful apartment, very spacious, plenty of natural light. Breakfast was also good with nice variety and eggs cooked to order. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast with a large selection of food, only a short walking to the railways station (Banská Bystrica mesto) and Tipsport Arena.

Even at night it is noisy with traffic. The beds are narrower than it is usual in hotels.
