I was planning on spending just one night in Banska Stiavnica, but on arrival at the Resla Residence I immediately decided to book another night. My room was lovely, it had a separate bedroom and lounge area. It was very clean, with great views out of my window over the town. The hotel is essentially right in the heart of town, at the top end. Very helpful staff gave me pointers on things to do with my time there (e.g. hiking to the top Mt Sitno, followed by a swim in Pocuvadlo Lake).

The residence is located in quiet part of city with beatifull view. All our rooms were clean, spacy and comfortable. The property contains two buldings with two separate gardens offering possibility to spent some time outside playing games etc. It's good to keep in mind that Banska Stiavnica is a hilly city so for my parents was the property located a bit high:-)

It's a bit tricky to come by car as the historical streets are pretty thin. The parking lot by the property is pretty small so it's a a bit tricky to park. There is another parking lot aside the building but I become the info once the internal space was full and had to ask receptionist.

Great location, easy to reach by car. Parking for a small fee with reservation required. From here it's easy to explore on foot the local area with great restaurants, brewery and cafes reachable in a few minutes. The room we stayed in was larger than the impression given from the photos. Really liked the sword and shield on the wall and antique paintings. Nice lighting as well. Great view. Nice garden. Comfy, spacious bed. Powerful hot shower. Receptionist was very helpful and organised. Very reasonably priced. Would stay there again.

There wasn't any shower gel or shampoo.

Lovely stay. Great location for the value. Easy to get around the city and walks. Private wellnes was amazing. I would expect maybe some nightgown, slippers to walk around. The extra bed (three of us in the room) was rather soft and not the best to sleep on. Payed parking+ wellnes was unnecessary, should be included in the price of stay. 7 out of 10.

Nice modern interior, comfortable room, beautiful city view. They have an electric car charging socket too. Very good breakfast, hot and cold options. Staff is extremly kind and helpful.

There was a shortage on hot water on Sarurday morning, when the Hotel was full, but other than that our stay was perfect. I believe they fixed the problem since.

Reception staff was very friendly, the location of the hotel was also great.

There was nowhere to place the shower head so you had to hold it while showering, also the shower door was not seal tight so a large part of the bathroom got wet whilst taking a shower. The bathroom door didn’t open completely and screeched over the floor tiles until it couldn’t go any further.

Great price and breakfast, nice room and location, good view for the town, close to restaurants.

The staff was not on site and had to wait for a while to get into the reception room. It was quite nervous when you didn't know if anyone will ever come to let you check in or not.

Set in a nice environment. Rooms are large and renovated. It was clean. The possibility of parking was great.

The beds look new but are not in a good state. With every move they squeak and shake and it simply wasn’t comfortable. The rooms aren’t soundproofed and it can get quite noisy from the corridor or from other rooms.

The location is amazing, the room was nice. We enjoyed the private sauna session quite a lot.

The breakfast was not good value for money - for 9€ per person I would expect a bit more than the most basic breakfast buffet.
