Centrally located a few steps from the old town, the train and bus station . It is a typical B&B hotel that gives you basic but comfortable accommodation in simple modern style with huge room overlooking outside (superior double room) and with fridge which is very convenient for fresh water especially during summer. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The staff extremely polite!

The breakfast could be better for the price of 7,20 euros but ok! I didn't understand why when making up the room they let the bed undone like when you wake up in the morning!!! It is the first time in my life ( and I travel a lot that this happens) and the same thing have been told from other people too!!

The staff is amazing and very friendly. So cheerful and willing to help. The rooms are very comfortable, decoration and space wise. Also the hotel is quite clean. Breakfast was a bit limited, but it had everything a small hotel would have.

The problem was the elevated temperature in the room. Central heating cannot be modified and the temperature cannot go below 27 degrees. To some people that could be too warm. I personally couldn’t stand it. I was lucky my room had a window and I could open it just enough to get some air in and be able to breathe, but it also overlooked what smelt like sewage and the window couldn’t be kept open for long. The room is still too warm even when the heating is disconneted. Hotel staff said it’s city regulations, room temperature is established by city hall. I think city hall should reconsider. I loved the hotel and all, but the temperature issue would definitely be a reason against going back.

It was my 4th time staying at this hotel. Staff were like always very welcoming, helpful, client service oriented and always smiling. It was a pleasure to meet them again. They have done their best to answer all my questions. I did not request breakfast because of my health issues but I have chatted with other guests and they were satisfied with it. The room was good with a comfortable bed and with a great view of the church towers. The location of the hotel is excellent! City center, city park, river side, Pyramid hill, bus station, train station, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. The city has a very good vibe and people are very friendly. I am planning to return soon and discover more and walk again in the city park and on the bank of the river as it is so comforting and energizing.

Staff is really helpful and ready to assist. Room was nice, clean and room window opens up fully. Shower was good and clean. Location is really good close to bus station and old town.

Air con was too weak and did not cool the room that well. Could be that they are trying to save electricity. Breakfast was quite weak unfortunately. Juices had 99% water and no taste. Coffee machine was a joke - black coffee didn't have filtering and hence was not drinkable, and cappucino was with 99% of milk.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and the pillows added to the overall comfort. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city, with major attractions and transport links just a short walk away. Breakfast was good, though the selection was somewhat limited. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality gluten-free options, which I truly appreciated.

Location is perfect! Everything only few minutes walk . Just perfect! Perfect [parking ,that was not full, right across the street , on weekend for free. Room was very light even though the window overlooked another building wall, so no view from the room, but still room is comfy and clean . Specifically liked the bed and pillows!

Room view on another wall is not that great , but something that can be expected when you are located in the pure center of the city. We were overlooking the wall. But thing that for me is something that is not acceptable for otherwise good hotel is absence of shower handle - so there is only upper shower and you can only shower in total with your head also getting wet. There are shower caps provided , but for somebody with a long hair this is not sufficient and I did not wanted to make my head wet , so i could not really take a proper shower. Breakfast is poor for 7eur - rather limited and vary basic . (for example you only have scrambled eggs , no boiled, only one type of cheese, very limited on no meat options as i do not eat meat). For 7 eur it is not worth it.

Excellent location on the edge of the old town – everything within walking distance. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were professional and friendly throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good, especially the variety of sweet options. I would have appreciated a wider selection of hot dishes, but overall it was satisfying. There is no private hotel parking, but a convenient and inexpensive multi-storey parking garage is located in the same building, which worked perfectly.

The hotel is located in a new building right next to the old town. You can also walk everywhere in a few minutes. The location is perfect for exploring the city and enjoying the charms of the old town. The hotel staff speaks fluent English and is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean, tidy and of a good standard. There is nothing missing in them. It is possible to order breakfast, which positively surprises with its diversity. Also at this price it is worth using it. You can come to the hotel with a dog. The hotel does not have a parking lot, but right next to the hotel you can leave your car in the huge city parking underground (with a barrier and cameras) or on the street in front of the hotel. Definitely a hotel worth recommending.

The accommodation was over one night. On the way to the sea. The accommodation perfectly fulfilled the main purpose - to wash and sleep. This stay is close to city center.

It is not possible to park at the hotel. there is not even an option to stop for a short time to unload luggage. The hotel is part of the parking garage, but it is not the hotel parking. We were not even offered this parking. It's great that the hotel has a breakfast option, but the selection is very limited. I didn't like this one breakfast. The only eggs they had were scrambled. And they tasted like they were with cottage cheese. But I probably wouldn't have a problem staying there again, just maybe without breakfast.

B&B Hotel Maribor: Nomen Est Omen – A Name That Speaks for Itself I stayed at the B&B Hotel Maribor for only one night on my way back home from Italy to Hungary. After a long, several hundred kilometer drive, we arrived at the hotel at 21:30 CET by car. The hotel's location is perfect—it was very easy to find. Since I booked and paid for my room online, the check-in process took only a few minutes, despite several people waiting to check in. The garage is a bit tricky to navigate; the entrance is very narrow and requires careful driving, but there were plenty of empty spaces. The room was a standard double-bed room. It was rather small but spotlessly clean and in perfect order. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great, though the floor was extremely slippery. The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. The breakfast area is located on the ground floor next to the reception desk/main entry. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausages, rolls, apple juice, and cappuccino. While the selection was not extensive, it was perfect to start our next 400 km drive. All in all, it was a good experience and a perfect place for a 1-2 night stay.
