We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel Lent in Maribor! The location is superb, the rooms are impeccably clean and very welcoming, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is, without exaggeration, exceptional – from reception to the restaurant. The reception team was outstanding: warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The restaurant service was equally impeccable, with great attention to detail and true professionalism. We will definitely be coming back and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Location was great — so close to everything we wanted, including shops, restaurants, and main attractions. We could walk out the door and be exploring within minutes, which saved us both time and transportation costs. The staff were very helpful and friendly, greeting us by name and offering local tips on must-see spots. Car parking was available at €12 a day, which was convenient and reasonably priced for the area. The room itself was bright and inviting, with tasteful décor and a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night after long days sightseeing. The fridge was a great touch, perfect for keeping chilled drinks and snacks on hand, and the air conditioning worked quietly and efficiently, which was a real bonus on warm afternoons. The bathroom well stocked with toiletries, plus the shower had great water pressure. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant at the front of the hotel. From the lovely terrace seating, it was so relaxing to sip a glass of wine and watch the world go by . The menu offered a nice selection of regional dishes, all freshly prepared, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. High-speed Wi-Fi made it easy to plan our itinerary and stay in touch with friends back home. Overall, this hotel struck the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and friendly service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, well-located, and value-for-money base in the city.

The breakfast was very good. There was a good selection of food and a grill to heat food with. They had some gluten free options The staff was great in helping us to find our way once we arrived. The location of the hotel is very close to the sights in old town.

Finding the hotel was really difficult. The hotel sent us pictures to try and help, but it was very confusing. It turns out that there is a bollard that retracts to allow the car into the hotel area. The problem was getting this lowered. On the bollard post is a button to call the hotel but we didn’t understand or see that. The email directions about this step was unclear but maybe that was a language issue. Once we got past this bollard and into the right area, the rest of the stay was fine.

The location is perfect! Close to the river and also to the main points of sightseeing. There are also many shops close to the hotel. The employees are very polite and helpful and it was a real pleasure to interact with them. We were waited even if we arrived late by flixbus, we ate a lot of delicious food from the menu and we received precious advice and recommendations. The room was clean and nice. The wifi worked perfectly. Because it was rainy and cold at the departure, the reception called a taxi for us in order to get in time for the flixbus. They also have a small storage room for luggage in case you have to check out but you leave later. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Maribor.

We liked everything in Hotel Lent except we couldn'tget a room here on the third night - sold out. The room is brand new, very clean, everything in good working order, spacious for 2 people, comfy bed, quiet. We had breakfast at the hotel once - continental breakfast. The location is great and the staff is superb, service was 5 star out of 5 . It was a 15 minute walk from the bus station. The manager arranged a ride for us to the bus station. We loved Hotel Lent

A kettle in the room would have been nice

Lovely small hotel on “Lent” right by the fast-flowing Drava River, 100m up from the famous oldest living grape vine. Very close to the old town-centre. Friendly staff. Small-ish room, but it had a double bed, TV, compact bathroom (the hot water in the shower was hot and plentiful - no pressure issues or anything - I had a nice shower), a small bar fridge (empty) and enough space to unpack - loads of storage space for the longer term visitor. The lift worked very well, and the stairs up to the third floor were quite manageable for the able-bodied. Nice breakfast with cereal, fruit, yogurt, cured cold cuts (sliced cold meats) and cheeses, coffee ok (pods), and some juice options, tea too I would guess. I booked Hotel Lent the night before on price and location after searching a few options for this spur-of-the-moment decision to go to Maribor from Vienna by train, and it was the best price and location for me. Hotel Lent was much, much nicer than I expected. The restaurant/cafe outside is very pleasant to sit at and have a coffee and watch people stroll by and the River Drava right beside you, a very scenic promenade - I did this twice - once when I arrived to see where my hotel was, and upon leaving yesterday. The coffees I had were very nice, and both waiters were friendly and fast. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Lent for singles or a couple for it’s location and price.

Friendly staff and easy check-in. The room was clean and everything essential and desirable was included. TV with many channels and a good working A/C. Check-out was easy and simple. Location is perfect. The hotel is perfectly located on Lent and Maribor's tourist city centre. Part of the Hotel is a restaurant with an amazing selection of food and drinks. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Maribor.

Everything was good, nothing to complain about

The hotel is in the city centre, yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Everything is within a 15 minute walk. Breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own parking. They send you directions on whatsapp with google maps which is very helpful. You have to pay for parking everywhere in the city, so having your car in place and safe and you can see it from your window is worth the daily rate, which they charge very fairly and if you check out and leave a few hours later they don't charge you extra for it. So cool place, if I go to the conference next year I will stay here again.

Location was ideal as it's on the edge of the city centre and the river Drau. Easy to find. Very friendly staff! The owner/proprietor even gave us a lift to the bus station on the 20 June as the taxi he booked didn't turn up. So, really helpful. Hotel clean, comfy and everything one needs to have for a short stay.

The breakfast was slightly different. The person in charge on the 20 June seemed to be rather uninterested and not friendly. No eggs were offered at the breakfast - if there was an eggs menu we weren't informed about it. But overall no problem, as we had to leave for another exploration of the city anyway.
