This place is amazing. With beautiful trees and flowers, small waterfalls, 2 swimming pools, just walk around is great pleasure. The room with the kitchen and a bathroom was charming. Comfortable, huge bed. Good WiFi. Parking on site. The main building has a charming dining room, with breakfast all you can dream . The landlady and staff members are kind and very helpful. There was a power cut, but they provided all the commodities , so you didn't feel desperate. I got the camp lamp, and they charged my power bank, and the generator was good enough for the hot water. You can book the safari on site. I recommend the afternoon private game reserve Schotia with dinner. That was amazing. Highly recommend.

The double room was well equipped with a good kitchen area and also outside BBQ facilities. The breakfast in the dining room of the venue was good with a lot of choice and cooked to order. The safari which was an optional extra was worthwhile and enjoyable. There was a swimming pool which I didn’t use but was pleasant to sit around and others were using. The setting and the grounds were very nice and well maintained.

Relatives of ours who were sharing a twin room felt their room wasn’t of such a high standard as our double room yet the price was the same.

We were made to feel so welcome and Everyone, Owners and Staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh and so thoughtfully presented. The gardens are beautiful, the swimming pool was clean and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. The close proximity to shops for supplies enabled us to self cater for evening meals with no fuss. Addo Elephant Park is nearby and was an absolute joy to behold. The Homestead has been there for many years and has old world charm Thank you very much, we will be back.

Homestead is absolutely stunning. Ronnie and Hidelene and Ronnie Jnr were most welcoming and most attentive hosts. Homestead is a delight! ... Hidelene's family home, the house is a historic gem.and her mature lush gardens are quite gorgeous, filled with water features and beautiful flowering trees ,- and two swimming pools! . Together they have made a little guest house paradise with creativity and flare.. and devised with remarkable ingenuity a remarkable number, variety and choice of accomodation to meet all tastes and budgets.. The staff are discreet and excellent and the rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. We took an afternoon and night safari with Ronnie Junior..a great experience for my Italian friends with an excellent dinner by the fire in the middle of the reserve. Our 11 year old could hardly contain himself, despite a cool and rainy day, at his first ever sight of Hippo, crocodile, Elephant, lion, antelope and buck, warthog and giraffe.. Ronnie was informative and caring... Thank you Ronnie. And Thank you to you all for a delightful stay.

The room is way bigger than I expected, which was a good surprise. The bed was also very big and very comfortable. We didn't really use the kitchen, but it also served us well. The outside area looks like a dream, and the staff is very friendly.

It's nothing too serious, but our shower had an issue the first night. The water was either boiling hot or very cold, but since it was already late, we managed. The next morning, I've asked for it to be fixed, and it was working properly when we came back at the end of the day. The staff was very helpful, so I guess that's also a positive :)

The staff were incredible. My son and his girlfriend were visiting Addo and when she said 'yes' to his proposal Kyla immediately organised champagne and a beautiful purple flowered heart to be put in their room. In addition to this Kyla was very very understanding and accommodating by moving them into a different room on their arrival. Truly, I cannot praise all the staff enough - I look forward to staying when my husband and I get to go away next year.

Breakfast was perfect, room very good - much more than was required for a few hours sleep (we were never going to spend much time in the rooms). Location was good for the purpose. Ronnie and Hildelene took a personal interest in the well-being of their guests. The activities (game drives) on offer were exceptional and took all our time. I wish I had known they are offering these, before I booked a full day with 'Get my guide'.

The location was excellent. Close to local amenities, restaurants and other establishments. The hosts were super friendly and truly went above and beyond to ensure you were made to feel comfortable and also knowledgable about other places to visit while there. Breakfast was brilliant and delicious. Loved the pool after a long day.

Nothing that we didn't like...just would like to see some minor upgrades to the en-suite bathrooms. Other than that we were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly recommend the place to others travelling to the area.

Friendly & professional greeting, good communication leading up to stay, lovely, cosy & comfortable accomodation. Liked that we had freedom to come and go as needed at our own times (fob & keys issued). Great security at all times.

Tea was never replaced; main overhead light was not working: shower floor was clean, but appeared dirty due to colouring of grout/tiles. The above are all merely observations, they are not major concerns.

The location was great! A short drive away from the Addo Elephant National Park, and based in a quiet area with a private parking spot. The room was also big enough, and the bathroom as well. We had a friendly introduction with the terrain thanks to the friendly host, who referred us to a nice restaurant closeby.

Due to the fact that there was a small pond with water that's standing still right behind our room, and possibly leaving all the windows open during the day, the room was packed with mosquitos.... At least 30 of them everywhere. Even though we managed to (at least we thought we did) caught them all, we still got some mosquito bites during the night. Also a couple of huge moths in our room, which meant a hunt for us to lead them outside.
