We recently stayed at this charming bed and breakfast and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few notable features. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep, and the room itself was warm and cosy, perfect for relaxing. The self-serve breakfast was a nice touch, offering a variety of options. The grounds were spacious, giving the place a peaceful, open feel, though I couldn’t help but feel it’s more geared towards hosting functions and weddings rather than a quiet retreat. While the open spaces and event areas are well-maintained, it meant that the overall atmosphere felt a bit more focused on large groups rather than individual guests. In short, it’s a good spot for events and large gatherings but may not offer the full experience if you're looking for a peaceful, all-in-one getaway.

A downside, however, was the lack of a bar area, which would have been a great addition for a relaxing drink after a long day. Additionally, there wasn’t much to do within the complex itself, so you’d need to venture out if you’re looking for entertainment or activities.

Beautiful setting and well kept environment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient to stay on conference premises.

The hot water geyser was impossible to regulate. The mixer tap we couldn’t use. The moment you touch the tap the water gets ice cold or very hot. Impossible to shower. We were in unit 7. Not nice bathroom.. needs a real geyser and an overall for sure. Otherwise nice stay.. maybe more floor covering like carpets as dement floors were very cold.. thanks

The Honeymoon suite is beautifully appointed & very spacious. Linen & pillows are exceptional. It is so tranquil and relaxing - no traffic noise. The geese add character to the whole experience. They take pride in their surroundings, especially the gardens. With beautiful white roses and other areas that are very well maintained it create beautiful photo opportunities. It is a wonderful experience when all the key staff/managers are solution orientated and they go out of there way to ensure excellent service. They All go the extra mile!!!!

The property is beautiful with a Spa and wedding venue. It is an excellent price with breakfast including. It is close to the freeway for a stop-over and 14 minutes from the university or town. It is nice to be 10 minutes away from the busy city. The staff were really friendly.

En electric blanket could be nice in winter (maybe I missed it). The stairs are a bit steep in the family room for kids so kids must be careful and slow with steps.

We used Monte Bello as a stop over while travelling. Its perfect for that. Easy to get to shops and food etc. Rooms are basic perfectly functional for an overnight stop. Very accessible pool to cool down in. The grounds are well maintained and lovely for a walk to stretch the legs.

A little dated and over time the rooms could be make lighter and airer. But for what we needed it was perfect !

The breakfast was nice, I stayed there for the whole week and had variety of options on what you I could eat for breakfast. The location is quiet exactly what I needed as I was staying there to go write my exams and I would study with no disturbance. They cater for dinner at an additional cost, so I didn't have to drive out to get dinner. You have an option having it delivered to your room.

Beautifully maintained guest lodge, perfect for short stay while travelling on the N1 route. Lovely gardens and swimming pool, comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Worked very well for us as a stop over with small kids as they could run around in the large garden and swim and play on play equipment while adults enjoyed the surrounds with coffee / drinks.

Nice place to stay in, it's beautiful. We were there for 1 night but we could have stayed for me. I love how uts accommodating to kids and that from the reception to cleaning stuff everyone was super friendly and warm. I am grateful they were able to arrange food for us for the evening as we were not able to get food on our trip. Definitely worth visiting again.

Absolutely nothing

Breakfast was amazing and had variety to select from. A big high 5 to the stuff. The garden and the landscape outside was so refreshing and amazing. The stuff was very friendly.

Whatever I didn't like was communicated to the manager, and it was addressed. It was only the dust on the window seal and spider web found in the shower.

The TV didnt have a channel guide and what we found was not great. nothing for the kids to watch. the bathroom was very small and the over bath shower was not easy for adults or kids to use. there were not enough places to hang towels after use. the stairs to the children's beds was extremely steep and not very safe
