the room was comfortale , clean and private. The Breakfast was Ohk Nothing Over the top but for the money i paid it was more than fine. the staff was freindly and ready to assist in their best way possible

nI would not say I disike but the cofee and breakfast was a bit cold when served oly eggs where warm. other than that the is nothing i dislike. also it would easy to locate the venue if they can have the Board by the road has we passed the place not knowing that we are to enter a compound.

The guesthouse was amazing and all the staff were super friendly. We stayed there for the weekend of our wedding and when they found out about it they gave us a room upgrade which was very special. When we came into the upgrade room we found flowers and chocolates on the bed which was very sweet of them. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay in the Bloemfontein area.

It was great to discover this new gem in Bloemfontein. Best value for money of the 5 previous establishments We have stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast served was excellent. Nice vibe

The new room we were allocated lacked a few minors. Airfreshner in the bathroom. A hook to hang the hand towel. Complementary - only tea one of each, no coffee sachets. Perhaps it's all new and management have not got around to it yet. These are observations, rather than criticisms. Our biggest gripe was the convoluted routings Google maps directions were. We came from Johannesburg side. Got to be a better routing off the N1.

The place is easy to see as its name is displayed conspicuously attached to the gate. The hosts are welcoming and friendly to the guests. The place is clean and secure with a lot of parking lot inside the premises.

Our room was having a problem with the door that Jam because of rain that rained the previous days. They were very slow on serving the breakfast. It seems they were short staffed

We were traveling from the Eastern Cape to Gauteng and wanted to sleep somewhere halfway that was secure, quiet and with enough parking as we traveled with multiple vehicles. Decided to give Blue Rain a try and what a great experience we had. We had some requests and we were going to be late for check in. All our needs was met without any issues. Breakfast was a great farmstyle meal. Everyone including the staff was super friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Big thumbs up to Blue Rain. We strongly recommend you stay over here if you are traveling through Bloemfontein.

We had no complaints at all.

A beautiful spot, tranquil and open, and nicely designed. We were happy that we could bring our dogs with us as well, and airconditioning in all the rooms. Breakfast was very nice, sitting on the terrace with a lovely view.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment. The design was nice and modern, but there were signs of wear and tear - rickety cupboards in the kitchen, wonky lamp shades and some chips in the toilet seat. The kitchen was a bit underwhelming, no ice in the freezer, no bag in the dustbin and coffee and tea for two people only, although we booked for three. It would also have been nice to have a chair / table / work surface / dressing table in the bedrooms.

Blue rain is a beautiful guest house with friendly and helpful staff. The room was big, beautifully decorated, clean and lux. Our beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious.

Loved this guest house and would stay here again. The only small downside was the water pressure in the shower. You have to jump around to catch a sprinkle of water. This is not the most pleasant, especially in winter, but should be an easy fix.

Breakfast was good. I only wish there was a variety. I did appreciate the effort that the ladies in the kitchen put. The place is on an upward trend of improvement from my observations. Consider full tiling in the family room I booked. I would definitely come back with my family. It is perfect.

I liked everything. Whenever the opportunity allows, consider a door for the main bedroom in a family suite for more privacy, especially when kids are brought.

Breakfast was amazing. We had a two bedroom flat which suited our requirements.

The palace is very very dark outside the main gate as we arrived at night. We drove up and down the street to locate the property. If there was a light on the name of the property it would have helped.

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The facilities were great, including a play area for the kids, which they loved, and a fantastic braai facility that we were able to use. The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of parking (even with a trailer). The rooms were beautifully furnished, with very comfortable beds making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Nothing
