When visiting the free state university this hotel is perfectly located. Safe parking, spacious room, all very clean and comfortable bed. All you need! People are very friendly, which adds to the plus. In the next comment we suggest some improvements that would add to the value of the hotel as it is worth staying.

Unfortunately there were two things we were not happy about. First the WiFi. Hardly any in our room which was frustrating. Could be because the room was (at our request) at the end of the hall. Nevertheless…. In the reception area it was perfect. Secondly the restaurant. Needs to be improved. All staff is friendly and working hard. But highly inefficient. Structure and support needed. Being with 2 it is not good when food of one comes when the other is finished, or starters are forgotten. Brought after the main came in and was cold. …. Many other issues. Please make a less extended menu and let the chef be more in contact with the client (special demands were troublesome). If not, then enjoy the hotel and try other Bloemfontein restaurants. Breakfast was good by the way.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. We arrived to a nice warm reception area with very friendly and helpful staff. Check in was easy. The room was very good, pre heated with good facilities. The bed was very comfortable with high quality warm bedding. The bar and restaurant were very good with excellent attentive staff. The food was good with a good selection of nice tasty meals. This was a really good value for money stay at a hotel.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel and the staff.

I hosted an event at the hotel. The allocated venue was perfect. The set up was great. The food and beverages were excellent! The venue and refreshments really added to my event being a success. I organised the event over email with Tabita, the process was seamless. The service I received from Thabiso and Lethabo was professional and efficient. They took care of everything. Great venue, great service!! Everything was outstanding! My room was clean, inviting, spacious and relaxing. Perfect stay away from home. Breakfast had lots of variety and everything was delicious. Reception staff were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. I don't think I will risk staying anywhere else when I'm in Bloemfontein! Thank you

It is a quite place but please improve in installing lifts it's a 21st century it is difficult for your staff to carry our heavy luggage it is really not nice to see and old person carrying your heavy bags and also try to improve in providing every room to have it's own iron it's really not nice for the iron to be borrowed from reception desk and to be return there while you can just put it in the wardrobe. Overall I was happy for my stay I had a peaceful night as I had a long 14hrs flight to come to South Africa a day before

Breakfast was very good and surpassed our expectations. My family, including my 7-year-old, liked it very much. Dinner was also very good and met our expectations. Kudos to the lady who served us dinner

The towels on the second day were not as nice as the ones on the first day. Additionally, the shower gel in the showers was finished and was not replaced.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was easy to find and was near where I was going. Breakfast was good.

There was no fridge in the room which was a bit of a disappointment. The booking was for a couple, but I was told that I paid breakfast for 1 person which I found to be strange.

Breakfast was outstanding. Had the buffet on the first night and it was out of this world. Staff are very friendly. Room was lovely and warm and very clean. I will be back on my next trip to Bloemfontein.

There was nothing that I did not like. I been to Bloem before and this was the best hotel I have stayed in.

I enjoyed my stay especially because of the friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant has vegan options! It was very chilly during my stay in Bloemfountain, so it was good that the rooms and other areas in the hotel were heated.

The staff are so nice and the hotel is clean and comfortable.

The swimming pool is very small. My room was just above the lobby on the first floor and I found it to be a little loud so I had to use ear plugs.

Everything accept the room allocation took longer than was expected

The staff telling me i paid short evrn though the amount was confirmed by Bookings.com. I did not appretiate the level of disrespect from the staff when they tried to handle the matter
