The staff are super friendly. They are great communicators and they are clear. They pay attention to detail and assist guests gain awareness of what they might have missed when they booked online.

Generally, I don't like not having carpets... I tend to avoid hotel chains that don't have carpets, simply because I like waking up and not hunting for sluppers just to go to the bathroom. I also understand their absence for other guests who might have sinuses, cost of upkeep, etc. I am suggesting a compromise of small rugs on either side of the bed. Secondly, the breakfast meat options were pork only. I suggest ensuring there is at least chicken and fish fingers/fish cakes.

The property was well managed, and very clean. Everything is accessible to the malls and restaurants. Amazing breakfast and the staff will accommodate all your needs. The owners were very nice as well, accommodated me when I needed an iron and the receptionist and cleaning lady accommodated me when I needed my breakfast earlier because of interviews. I would highly recommend this place❤️

Nothing, everything was perfect.

It is in a prime location and well designed (inside and out). The breakfast in the morning is tasty with good combinations in the warm and cold sections. The quality of the bedding is good, it was clean and well presented along with the state of the room in general. The room sizes were also decent - not too big it too small. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They and Sam (in particular) really made us feel like we’re home.

The AC in the “back room” wasn’t working but Sam offered my aunt a pedestal fan which helped greatly. In the stinkhout room we noted that the water didn’t get warm at night in the shower but the bath and basin were extremely hot. It was odd. The biggest sore point was just other guests. Someone was playing music from his car (as early as 6:30 AM) which affected my wife a notorious light sleeper. Other guests were generally loud on the their phones and in the passages. Maybe a couple sign around the property could be placed to remind people to be considerate of other guests.

The fact that they tried to change the price on arrival. That is not very sincere business practices.

Fantastic room with an A/C & heater, mini fridge, and television. The shower heated up quickly and there was plenty of warm water. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the staff member on duty at the front desk was so helpful to me during my stay. He even offered to drive me to the shuttle stop in the morning! Wonderful service, I will definitely be returning!

Online the breakfast is advertised as R70, but when I arrived the price had changed to R90. The card machine was also not working so I had to pay with cash for my breakfast.

I would recommend they have options to phone and order take-away, that is easy for the guest. I had been driving for 10 hours and then to get there and still navigate how to order take away, just felt too much. I don't know the city or what's good to recommend. I think reception should ask the guests when checking in if they need assistance with ordering dinner. I would certainly have loved the help.

Firstly i wanna say thank you to Morne and Mariska for allowing us to stay in your beautiful premises and welcoming us with your warm smiles. Hospitality was excellent, rooms were clean and we almost overslept on those comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely, Overall the service was exceptional. Till we see each other again adios!

Only my friends complaint about not being able to make noise, they had to use their inner voice to talk to each other. hahaha it was hilarious to watch them whisper.

Location was good for the hockey tournament at the university. Staff were very friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable. Aircon/heater worked well. Breakfast was good value

Noisy - road noise plus other guest noise was quite hectic - earplugs helped from 2nd night. Limited space to put clothes away. Wasn’t place to put toiletry bags except on the floor. No mats next to the bed - which would have helped the cold tile floor

Sam phoned before my arrival to advise on check in time. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed. The guesthouse is central to everything you may need. Safe and secure parking. The room was well appointed, clean and welcoming. Sam was excellent in providing directions as well as made sure everything worked. I really enjoyed my stay and had a good rest after a long road trip. Value for money. Thank you for your kind hospitality!

I noticed that the house is in need of a bit of TLC, but in general lovely appointed spot. The garden was well kept.

Homely, safe, linen was clean and comfy, the fact that they had an iron was my favourite 🙂 Literally everything I just don’t have the right words, Check in was simple, simple instructions, you’re given all information as you come in, WiFi’ password, the manager I think is even offered to help with carrying my luggage upstairs, customer and people oriented
