The host was very helpful and was at the guest house when we arrived. The room was comfortable but the bedroom was a little small. The place was very clean and room had all the added features of TV with DSTV, fan and A/C. Overall a very comfy stay. Breakfast was also very good and excellent value for money

The room was a bit dated but everything worked so no real issue

The house is a large, old but well maintained one, with multiple rooms with a nice retro-style. Our room was large, with a big bathroom and a nice view to the garden from the bed. The staff was really nice and supportive to find restaurants opened nearby (we arrived late), and really welcoming at breakfast time too.

Nothing to dislike

The breakfast was very good. Our attic room was spacious and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great location within walking distance to Grey College and Eunice Girls School. There was excellent security and safe parking.

Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great, it was nice and quiet and very close to Grey College which was perfect for us.

The aircon was a bit soft for the room, we struggled to cool down even with the fan going

Very peaceful atmosphere, relaxing after busy days. Secure with undercover parking on property. Efficient staff, and personalised service makes for a really enjoyable stay.

Excellent service and fantastic breakfast. The room was neat, clean and mostly comfortable with everything we needed. Hosts were super-friendly and the whole place has a very inviting ambience.

The light shining into the room at night from the doors that could not be covered was somewhat distracting. Being close to a busy road also increased the noise levels at night.

The breakfast was delicious, kitchen dining area was very clean, the room we slept was clean, warm and accommodating and staff was also welcoming with good customer service

We liked everything

I stayed here twice in one week, as stopover between Cape Town and Johannesburg. The second time I had one of the newer rooms in the main building which was more comfortable than the first night when I had an older room in a separate building. Both were fine and clean. Easy to reach location, very friendly staff. great breakfast

I decided not to use the pool because it was quite busy

It was excellent value for money and the cooked breakfast really good. The location was great for us but others might find the distance to places to eat not so good. Very clean and bed comfy , towels clean but a bit ragged

New towels, didn’t bother us but need to be clear dogs and cats in residence for those that have sllergies
