I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was delightful! They offered fresh fruit, baked goods and a delicious selection of warm meals. The room had a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Overall, a truly enjoyable stay!

While the room had a cozy and intimate feel, I found it a bit limited for a king-size bed "room". At times the space did feel a bit cramped. Given the price, I expected more facilities beyond the buffet and the room itself. A few more amenities would enhance the overall experience, it's a shame that the zoo isn't operational.

The hotel is well situated and walkable to shops, sports, schools, etc. The staff at this hotel was just simply amazing, helpful and friendly! We also ate a lot of our meals in the hotel and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

The hotel is starting to get a bit dated. But the biggest complaint is the bathroom/shower which is literally NEXT TO the bed with zero privacy. That really needs to change. We were travelling in a group and everyone had an idea of how they could change the stupid lay out.

Me and my friend stayed here for one night only in between our travels. Staff were helpful and all amenities were present in the room.

How the shower is not in a room but you have to pull out a curtain which doesn’t go all the way to the wall. So it was pretty awkward for me and my friend as you could see the reflection in the mirror, so we had to be facing the other way while the other was showering. Also we requested a twin bed and had a double bed.

Overall, it was a good experience. Towels need to be replaced with new ones. Breakfast was good. You need to add some crackers, though. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Toilets should have a water hose. The shower is in the open in the bedroom. Sometimes, one needs privacy . Great location. The pool needs a revamp. Dirty and unusable. Also small.

This was truly a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel was very convenient and central.

Definitely will be back, so no complaints. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Bloemfontein. Was there on business, would love to have stayed longer.

Shower in the bedroom with no privacy provided. The one room booked had a separation curtain between the shower and the bed, the other room not. Had a special request prior to check in that the one room have two single beds. Never received a response from the hotel and all rooms had double beds upon arrival.

The breakfast was absolutely perfect, there was a variety at the buffet and the food was served warm. The staff was very friendly and assisted us as quickly as possible. I loved everything about my stay with Willow lake and I am looking to returning during the warmer days.

The staff were great... from the front desk to the breakfast crew, they were friendly, efficient and helpful.

The room was small- tight, there was an interleaving door to the room next door through which we could hear our neighbour talking on her phone. The internet was down for our entire stay. The TV had very limited channels, poor resolution, and poor reception. For the price, it was disappointing.

We couldn't pop our bottle of champagne in the pool area as we were told we only have to purchase drinks from the bar. The swimming pool is dark hence I wasn't sure if it's clean hence I couldn't swim.

The basin wasn’t clean. Restaurant chairs could use some deep cleaning as well. Tv quality is grainy and poor.
