We had a delightful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome. The amenities in the room were thoughtful, from the sweet treat on the bed to the high-quality shower gel, making our stay feel extra special. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety to suit every taste. A special mention to the receptionist, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process seamless. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Villa Bali is quite conveniently located for travel around Bloemfontein. They have large and secure parking. The checkin process was very smooth - I hadn't been able to complete the online checkin forms (as we were traveling), but they had hard copies awaiting us. The person at the checkin desk was extremely helpful. While their restaurant did not serve dinner, he very kindly offered that we could use the restaurant premises and their cutlery if we ordered in (Mr D & Uber Eats both work) We had requested ground floor rooms and they did give us 2 rooms as close together as possible. The rooms aren't excessively large, but they are very efficiently designed. I loved the amount of lighting in both the bedroom and the bathroom (we tend to read in bed before we sleep and poor lighting is a pet peeve). Lots of conveniently located plug points for charging. A proper tea / coffee station for late night or early morning tea. Good strong wifi connection. I was able to make an urgent video call too. Very comfortable beds and clean linen. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold foods. We only stayed one night, so I'm not sure if it gets repetitive after awhile, but we had scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese grillers, American style pancakes, baked beans, chicken nuggets and hash browns. There were also cereals, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses and fruit salad. A small selection of breads and spreads that was quite satisfactory. Villa Bali is in a good location, we loved the cleanliness and efficiency around the design and service. We would be happy to stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, from reception to the restauarant/ kitchen staff to the staff who covers every car's windshield every night with a blanket to prevent frosting (very nice thing to do!). Family room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Electric warm blankets made the cold winter evenings very comfortable. Breakfsat was quality, with a good selection. Great location

Top bunk bed mattress was very worn out and almost "unsleepable" (for a child). Bit of disturbance early Sat morning from people coming back from a Fri night out....

As always, the rooms were spotless and the breakfast was great. Very friendly and competent staff.

There was an extremely noisy group with undisciplined children who ran wild and screamed and shouted. This was extremely disturbing for us as our main objective was to catch up on some much-needed sleep. I paid extra for a verandah and we were given a room facing the common area (was the common area the "verandah"?)

The greeting we received after a long drive from Durban was so friendly. The lovely receptionist even sang Happy Birthday to my 84-year-old mother and hugged her. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and I loved the delicious little Wedgewood nougat on the pillow. I'm not usually a sweet tooth, but I bought close to a kilo of it to take home to Australia.

It was the perfect place to break our long drive from Durban. Reception was extremely helpful and although the hotel only serves breakfast, guests are allowed to use the microwave, crockery and cutlery in the dining room. We were able to buy exactly what we wanted for dinner from the Woolworths Food shop around the corner and heat and eat our meals. My mother wasn't feeling well and only wanted soup, while my daughter and I were craving veggies and salads. Everyone was happy.

It was a pleasure staying there. It is quiet and the staff most friendly and helpful.

I was in room 18. I think the mattress on the right side is sagging and a bit warn. They probably cater for short stays, but we were there for five days and could do with a bit more work space inn the bathroom, shelves and more cupboard space. Lighting could be brighter. Room was fine.

Decent room, value for money, staff very friendly and they prepared a nice breakfast pack for me event though was leaving at 6. Decent facilities in room, was neat and great location. Good value for money, perfect for overnight stay.

Saw a spot of something on the toilet seat and had to clean it up before using. Very minor thing. Loadshedding generator only covers the lights so cant use anything in room until the power comes back. Fell like the toilet seat needs replacing as it looks a little ugly when you lift the lid up but overall these are small things and otherwise was a good stay.

Absolutely everything! The staff was just lovely in every sense of the word. Breakfast was of a big variety and absolutely delicious. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable, aircons kept our rooms nice and warm, electric blankets were lovely , linen was spotless, fresh, and of excellent quality. Toiletries, water, coffee, tea, sugar, and rusks etc were replaced daily. In the morning, we found blankets on the windscreens that the staff placed there at night to protect the windscreens against the cold. I have traveled quite a bit, and it was my first time to experience such thoughtfulness. I would definitely return. Keep up the good work.

Breakfast on offer was superb, room was comfortable and had electric blankets especially for winter. Location is perfect as its central to everything.

The was cigarette odour on ,y room, and when I advised them, they said its people smoking in the open area (but that shouldnt mean the smell is in my sheets and curtains). The aircon was just not warming the room up even when pushed to 30 degrees and mode on summer

Location is easy enough to navigate even if you are arriving after dark. It has a gorgeous tropical holiday feel like the name suggests even in the middle of winter. The blankets they put on each vehicles windscreen for frost is a very nice touch.

Since we come from Cape Town we arrive after a long days drive. It would be nice to be able to have supper in the restaurant and not have to drive to a restaurant for dinner. We also have to have super early start the next morning because we have another long day traveling and although I am a genius member of Booking.com, I always have to forfeit the complimentary breakfast as thr kitchen, although staffed, is not open that early. Perhaps they could make a continental breakfast self service available for thr early birds.
