The cleanliness, the surroundings. There is just great peace of mind, not far away from the Mall, I didn't know Bloemfontein was so beautiful.

Quiete hours are from 10pm, round about 9pm I get a text that we are loud. So now we were not supposed to communicate freely with my partner, we had to whisper. I really felt disappointed..

From the moment I was warmly welcomed by Mpho with the biggest smile and a delicious Cappuccino, the table was set for a fantastic stay at this hidden gem in Langenhovenpark, Bloemfontein. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with comfortable beds, good-quality fresh linen, and fluffy, crisp towels. The property is well-maintained, and the rooms are fresh and clean. This property feels like a home away from home. For us business people, it is essential to have a good working space and a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood; Stonehill Villa is the answer. This guesthouse will be my first choice in the future.

We have been driving back from a massive 4000km road trip and needed a stopover/overnight place to rest before the final trip home to JHB. Stonevilla was exactly what we needed and more, Clean, neat, friendly, super modern, comfortable, fully equipped, and most all safe and scure for our loaded car and veing with the family that was an import requirement.

I had a fantastic stay at Stonehill Villa in Bloemfontein. The villa is beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of modern luxury and comfort. The spacious rooms were immaculate, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The outdoor area, complete with a stunning pool and garden, provided a serene escape. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring I felt at home throughout my stay. Overall, Stonehill Villa exceeded my expectations and provided an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Pre check-in information provided was comprehensive and very helpful particularly regarding places to eat. We received a very warm welcome from Mpho who was very helpful and showed us to the room and explained how everything worked. Room and bathroom was exactly as depicted in pictures on the site, very clean, modern upmarket decor, well laid out and a number of conveniences that made the stay more comfortable. The water, milk and rusks together with tea and coffee provided were appreciated.

Place looks exactly as shown in bookings.com website. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They even ensured the dinning area is warm before we arrived for breakfast every morning

Selfcatering service was limited. Place only served breakfast. The bath tub in our room was losing water very fast after pouring it in.

Stonehill Villa was perfect in every way. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Mpho, who was so helpful in finding a private clinic on Easter Sunday for my daughter, who had an eye injury. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning that was prepared by 2 delightful ladies. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

The location is excellent and safe. The rooms are so beautifully decorated, with all necessary and add on amenities. There is a small fridge, coffee station, air-conditioning and a large comfy bed. It was a lovely surprise getaway!

Nothing it was great. Just to note that there are stairs getting to the room, which may not be suitable for people with disabilities but the rooms are really big, and the showers are walk in, making it really great for a wheelchair.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was tastefully furnished and outdoors was beautifully serene. The facilities in the room couldn't be better. It was the perfect accommodation for an overnight stay, but I would definitely consider it for a longer one. The room and bathroom were clean, and everything in it functioned as it should.

I stayed for one night only, but I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The property was well equipped, even in times of loadshedding (excellent bed, bathroom with great shower, kitchen nook with filter coffee, rusks and others). It was safe but very easy to enter and exit (which we had to do numerous times).

We could never figure out how to switch on the bedside lights. On the morning of our departure we saw a 4th small white remote next to the TV/DStv and aircon remotes and managed to switch on the lights as we were about to leave. This remote should be on the bedside table when checking in, not with the others next to the TV. One last thing (only because I'm very sensitive to light): Our room had double doors that open out on a (well-lit) central courtyard with pool. The room did have thick curtains that effectively block out most of the light, but there was sufficient spillage around the edges to wake me. (At least I could then consciously enjoy the bed which is one of the best we've had on our work travels over the years.)
