Magnificent garden. Made you want to explore it. Variety of birds called the garden home. Excellent communication. Exquisite decor, extremely tasteful. I have never stayed in such a clean B&B. It sparkled. The linen and towels were white and quality. Bonus was the electrical blankets and wall heater on a cold night. Breakfast was most enjoyable. The stay was sheer luxury. Touches such as sherry and chocolate. The kitchenette was well catered for needs of a traveller and included an egg boiler, toaster, microwave, fridge. Luxury toiletries. JP was a gracious and caring manager. I look forward to staying again.

Well positioned in central George close to all the areas we were planning to visit. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the bedding of high quality. The room was clean and I found everything I needed for my overnight stay in my room. I particularly appreciated the electric blanket on my bed. Breakfast was great and the lady who prepared and served us was very friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast. This was a great stay and made the business travel feel like a little holiday.

The quietness and cleanliness not only inside but outside is everything! And the separate sink in the kitchen everything I've ever wished facilities I stay at would have, it's more hygienic and convenient so that's the most thing I loved out of everything else as I'm a hygiene freak! But this place is great for both work and leisure.

I saw hairs in the bathtub and because i was warned not to walk because there's an abandoned house near the guesthouse and there are people occupying it and its not really safe.

The property manager Charlene was just absolutely amazing. Even before we got to the accommodation, she was communicating with ensuring all was fine. The room we started in was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The cleanliness of the room and linen made the stay even better. Charlene and the staff were excellent, going as far as accommodating my partner and I’s request for breakfast in our room. And moreover when we wanted to move out of the room to finish off the breakfast, they graciously obliged. The cherry on top of this great service was the check in message from Charlene when we got to Cape Town. Than you Charlene, you’re absolutely amazing. We will definitely visit again when we’re back in George.☺️

Very good stay. The garden is beautiful to take a walk in and to get into nature. Room was good. Comfortable bed, pillows were very comfortable. Good check in. Could have used the pool however I was there for work purposes so no time. The staff were very good to me, even did washing for me for my work which was much appreciated.

The Neighbour had his outside light on throughout the night that lights up the room. I did have restless nights due to this but if you don't mind a lit-up room then this is perfect for you.

Really well appointed rooms, nice bedding. Really enjoyed the size. Everything was well managed by the team at Arbour1.

The only minor thing is there was no AC in our room and it was a hot few days in George.

Cannot complain at all

Charlene and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Fantastic gardens, great breakfast. Would definitely recommend it.

Traffic noise, but out of their control.

Good location, friendly staff, beautiful garden.

Breakfast was adequate. The road nose was intrusive but if you closed the rooms door it was manageable.
