It is unfortunate that l fell ill a couple of days before I arrived at Loerie. That, however, helped to highlight the staff’s superb attitude and service. I stayed in our room for most of the time and it was very quiet and peaceful. Just what I needed. Thank you to all at Loerie. Next time (and there most definitely will be a next time), I will enjoy my stay and the sights much more.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, great location. You can easily walk into town, many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Room came with a kettle and fridge. We felt very safe here, and our vehicles were securely parked at night. The price is also very budget friendly.

Fridge leaked a bit (the ice section), but that was really not a major thing.

I normally stay at this location. It is quiet even though it is positioned on a busy road. Breakfast is basic, but good and the chef makes the eggs like you want - This is not normally the case at other establishments.

The bed is too hard is the only downside of the short stay at this establishment.

A very nice hotel in George. The young man at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and simple. The room was quiet and comfortable. The Loerie Guest Lodge was a perfect place to stay during our road trip heading to Cape Town. The hotel was well located, in easy reach of the Wilderness Beach and the Fat Fish restaurant.

Nothing that I can think of. We only stayed one night and then moved on.

It’s beautiful, well taken care of guest house with fresh linen, their soap smells absolutely lovely as well and the breakfast is very tasty. Friendly reception, staff and secure parking with pin controlled access.

There was not enough blankets and it’s winter. The rooms are very cold and I advise the use of thick blankets or even a heating system in the rooms

we did book at Loerie as a centre point for a bike tour of which we were 11 people and was a perfect location for this. The lapa area was lovely to use for our evening gatherings and suited our needs

The fact that they couldn't prepare a cook up breakfast one hour earlier (for 3 or the 4 days we stayed there) I thought was unnecessary and although allowed to bring in caterer they weren't very helpful with this.

Unfortunately the breakfast was included in the price, and we could not make use of it, due to that Mr. Vorster was Before 07h00 already on the road (booked out). No pre-pack was available because the staff only started at 07h00. therefore breakfast was paid for, but not used. Maybe if Bed can be separated from breakfast. Option for breakfast optional. ? further was your services all inclusive good. thank you for your friendly hospitality.

Good location, friendly and very helpful staff. Room was very clean. We had a good stay.

They could have had some amenities in the room - like a shower cap and lotion will add value. Room #4 needs a toothbrush / comb holder by the basin.

I loved everything about this place. They were friendly, accommodating and I felt right at home. We all came down for my Pops' 90th so there were a bunch of us staying there. Would definitely reccomend!

Without knowing it beforehand, the lodge is perfectly situated within walking distance from restaurants, which is perfect when you don't know the area at night. Breakfast was well catered for, so you will not go hungry.

Parking is tight, so arrive early if it possible.
