Lovely location - Ubers are also readily accessible from as early as 08h00. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains were blackout, making for a good nights sleep and keeping the morning sun out. The staff were very also very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early and immediately upon arrival at 09h00. I forgot my toothpaste (which I only realised around 10pm before bed) and although reception guaranteed it would be safe for me to walk the short distance to the OK mini mart, security offered to walk with me. A small but very kind gesture that contributed to my stay. Overall a short but very satisfactory stay. I’d be happy to stay there again if I ever found myself returning to George.

The room itself had almost everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, save for a mini fridge to keep drinks cool / food fresh (a small critique, but perhaps something to look into because I have seen this highlighted on other reviews).

I have stayed here before when it was run by Protea hotels so I knew in respect of the accommodation what I was expecting. The exception to this stay was the hospitality, and helpfulness shown by the frontdesk staff across the board,and indeed the General Manager Hans Zander.He so kindly gave us a lift to golf venues when we were going to order a Uber. In addition to this my friend lost his mobile phone, which was eventually found by logging the missing item with Uber who found it in the boot of the car as it had fallen out of the golf bag .When it was returned to the hotel the receptionist and security had seen where we went for dinner, and accompanied the driver to return the phone to us in the restaurant. Quiet exceptional. On arrival the front desk manager did not greet us standing behind the desk, but can out from behind the desk to welcome us a great small touch you don't see from any hotels theses days

I really enjoyed my stay at the Premier Express Inn George. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of George, which made it easy to get around and explore. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I felt right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

The only downside during my stay at the Premier Express Inn George was that noise from other guests could be a bit disruptive at times. Other than that, everything else was great, and I had a pleasant experience overall.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights while my husband was in the nearby hospital. The first night he was with me. The room didn't have a fridge so we requested a room change to allow a constant flow of cold white wine for a 5 night stay. A fridge was brought to our room! The second night I was alone and my daughter joined me for the remaining 3 nights. It was excellent value. Breakfast was good, the room comfortable but best of all were the staff who were very helpful, sociable and a mine of local information during a stressful time for me. A huge thanks to them all.

The room was clean tidy. We enjoyed the coffee, and the water. The front desk reception was extremely friendly and very easy to communicate with. He offered very good suggestions and was very helpful.

The parking was an issue when I arrived. I parked within the complex but struggled to get access into the hotel from the parking. The mini fridge was tiny and when I stored my refreshments it froze my drinks and snacks. I struggled with the air conditioner to get it to warm up.

Friendly and attentive service from all staff at all times. Clean, with tasteful reception and dining decor, and comfortable beds and linen. Highly recommend the breakfast!

Nothing disliked, other than a disruptive altercation by a neighbouring room 03h00 - 04h00. Perhaps a security walkabout could have managed this.

I had a very traumatic day. My sick husband was taken to Plett Mediclinic by ambulance and as the hospital was full we were sent to Knysna and then George. At 10 pm that night I arrived at the hotel and a security guard took my suitcase and showed me where to go. I was warmly welcomed and had a good night sleep. I was warmly welcomed at breakfast, the coffee and pastries delicious as I could not eat much but your staff enquired about my husband and made me feel special. I spent 2 nights with your hotel and must say although the hospital was not great I was looked after extremely well.

Loved the old character, it had charm and created a nostalgic feeling. The staff was very accommodating. Helped us with our luggage, stored our food in the freezer and answered all our questions. They are busy with renovations which isn't bothersome at all. I'm looking forward to what the end result will be. Ps. We stayed at the hotel in order to be first in line at George Homeaffairs. They are located in the same street, with one block between the two locations. I highly recommend you stay in this hotel if you also have to visit the Homeaffairs in George.

Unfortunately they weren't prepared for load shedding, but I heard them organise a generator as we were leaving. I trust the guests that come after us won't have that issue.

The hotel sitting area is beautifully furnished and decorated. The entire hotel is in very good condition. The chair in the bedroom not very comfortable for watching TV.

On a whole the dinner was good, only complaint, the roast beef was over cooked and there was no Horseradish sauce!

The staff was lovely and help was always available when needed. There was great security and the rooms were clean. The food was good too.

The WiFi wasn't so great. It kept disconnecting and saying there is no internet access.
