I had an absolutely wonderful stay at 1 on Ross! Everything was immaculate, with the kind of attention to detail that makes a stay truly special. The bedding was luxurious – crisp percale with that soft Egyptian cotton feel – making for an incredibly comfortable and restful night. I also loved the thoughtful touches, like the cereal, coffee, and milk provided, which made the stay even more welcoming. Mike was an amazing host – friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He even made sure my daughter was comfortable on a sleeper couch, which was a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend 1 on Ross to anyone visiting Grahamstown. A well-deserved 10/10!

There was a heater and an electric blanket. However, I wish there was an extra blanket,it was very cold.The heater was also slow to heat. Other than that everything was fine and the place was excellent. The lights were on even during load shedding. Cereals, sugar, milk, tea/ coffee were provided even though the place is self catering.

Our room was modern, neat and adequately stocked with the things required for a stay. The biggest plus was Mike's willingness to make sure we were happy. There was an area power outage and between the generator, gas stove and emergency lights, he made sure we were as comfortable as could be. Thank you Mike!!

The owner/ manager was very responsive to my needs. The information pack provided provides all information including WiFi password etc. The place was clean and a key provided for my easy and secure access. Plenty of parking as well.

It wasn’t clear to me whether breakfast would be provided. That said I had made reservations for breakfast elsewhere as I was visiting for business.

Spacious, private, full kitchen and large bathroom with shower and bath. Huge bed and quality linen, and good finishes throughout. Cupboard space, this place is as described, or even better. It is comfortable enough for a longer stay. The host Mike and the staff are great, we felt very welcome.

Nice and quiet. Very central. Mike was super pleasant and always available. The room was very spacious and clean. The fact that it was serviced daily was a bonus. Honestly loved our stay. Fantastic value for money!

Really great hosts, deep attention to detail, daily cleaning service, great pool.

The space is quite tight. I have recently receive similar quality with more spaciousness... but really, I think I'm becoming spoilt by outstanding hosts. It's really a perfect stay.

Mile was really helpful regarding our arrival time and hosted us in a lovely cottage. Such a treat to be able to drink tap water in Grahamstown too thanks to their Bore hole! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

The people and the area all around. There's green everywhere which is great as it calms even when driving long distance.

Not a lot to complain about as it was so great. But because my stay was a bit long, having a laundry machine in the apartment would've been great to do laundry.

Mike was a friendly host. The place was very clean and the extra touches (little chocolates) were appreciated. I also liked the decor - stylish. The beds were very comfortable.

In the summer heat, the duvet was too warm.
