The quietness of the area, the housekeeping was excellent. Everything was just clean. I honestly loved everything about my stay at Woodlands guest house. Safe area and clean environment. Towels were changed every day! Big up to Tracey and her team!! (the housekeeping lady and the gentleman). Thank you for being a great host.

I regret not adding breakfast when I booked..

I loved the room, especially the shower, or rather the bathroom, it was big enough and beautiful. I loved the location also, it's in a quiet place, not far from town.

The swimming pool is small, it would be great if it can be made bigger. I prefer a double bed, instead of two twin beds joint together. The wooden floor is a little shakey, making some lil noise as you walk, as if it's gonna fall off.

Great location to visit attractions in Hazyview. The hostess was very helpful in suggesting activities and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. I had let them know ahead of time that I was vegan and she prepared special vegan sausages and had plant milk available at breakfast. She was extremely helpful with providing directions and a picture of the hotel entrance and even sent us a list of the loadshedding schedule so we were prepared for the power and water outages.

The best thing about this lodge was hands-down the manageress, Tracy. Even before we came she sent us a load shedding schedule along with instructions and asked us what we wanted for breakfast. It didn't end there. She did everything for us on our visit and was brilliant. We had such a great time with her. The lodge is lovely. Our room was very African and atmospheric with a huge veranda. The location was a stone's throw into the town. Breakfast was above and beyond. We got what we asked for and more. We loved the monkeys and their antics. They tended to come for 30 minutes during the day and frolic on the lawn. We also met the man owner who was very nice and owns other lodges in the area. I would definitely return here as Tracy made us feel so welcome.

Tracey is the most wonderful host ever. She helped with everything and informed us of things to do and places to go. Her service and breakfasts were amazing. She is kind and friendly. King-size beds, luxury rooms, clean and such a blessed atmosphere. Most amazing stay. Exceeded all our expectations!!!

Very well located. Comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and went the extra mile assisting with booking a trip to the Kruger. The staff are the real asset at the Woodlands Guest House

Swimming pool a bit small. Wifi was not that great. Channels on the TV was limited.

Tracey & Mfundo were very welcoming and helpful in terms of activities around that we can try. Our stay was amazing.

The pool is situated close to the trees so water was super cold, if trees can be cut to allow the sun to hit the pool.. wouldn't be a bad idea.

It was a beautiful property, and the room was so big and spacious. We felt very safe and had a great nights sleep for both nights. The host was very helpful, gave us some great places to eat and advice for visiting Kruger National park. Breakfast was lovely, we really enjoyed the options of cooked breakfast and cereal/toast/yogurt and fruit options. We would love to visit again.

Room 2 was stuffy due to poor ventilation. No emergency light for load shedding There were also a lot of mosquitoes and big flying cockroaches We recommend insecticides and fumigation of the rooms

A very nice guest house in Hazyview, close to shopping malls and the Phabeni gate to Kruger. Room big and spacious, excellent big shower head for a nice hot shower. Breakfast was good with some fruit, yogurt, cereal, and hot dishes like eggs and sausage. Above all, we loved the pleasant hospitality of Tracy, who made our stay more enjoyable.

The room is a bit outdated.
