It’s cheap and has all the basics you need, and literally nothing else. But see the cheap part. Secure guarded parking, soft bed, and the standard room amenities. Plus it’s clean and well-maintained, the staff are very friendly, there are vending machines: this is a great place for solo travellers.

A sliding door to close the toilet off from the room is only workable if you’re travelling by yourself. One extra bin in the room would also be handy, and I’m really not sure that tying the TV remote down with a leash to the bedside table was necessary. Not that I even turned the TV on, it was so small that I just enjoyed a bit of YouTube on my phone lol. The biggest disappointment though was that breakfast costs R130 … I didn’t stick around for that, it was cheaper to get a better breakfast outside the hotel.

Staff were most amazing people I have met. I told my friends they all fired because I have new friends at city lodge Rivonia. Blown away by the service I have stayed in best hotels in other countries nothing compares to your staff. Treasure them they are absolutely amazing

What was not to like. I have Insomnia your staff would sit and chat to me all hours of the night even when they were working. The pastries and lady who cooks food in evening give her a bells. You lucky I don't steal her for myself. Her food was like my ouma cooking Only dislike lady daytime manager very sullen and dosent interact with clients. Give her a pastry to cheer her up

The staff is well trained, patient, lovely and understanding. They explain body and swiftly

Not to ruin the great experience and service we received, although they can make an exception in leaving ironing boards and cleaning bins on the floor. My fiance almost got knocked over by tripping on the ironing board that was placed Infront of my door, she was carrying my baby on her way to the reception the first day, and when we left the equipment was still on the floor

The location was perfect. The staff was helpful and friendly. Special mention must go to Sthembiso for arranging my room prior to booking and just his friendly professional approach to customers

the tv in the room had very limited channels and my aircon in the room wasnt quite working

We liked the cleanliness and location of the hotel.

The water pressure and temperature in the shower needs some improvement. Breakfast needed more variety.

the Chefs were amazing shout out to Ntokozo and Innocent they made our stay wonderful. We were exhausted after taking the first flight out of Harare and they really made us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this place to my fellow Zimbabweans travelling to SA

the breakfast was ok but if you were to get up late say around 8 30 am most of the food would have been finished eg the mushroom. The breakfast menu should be expanded

Quite a nice stay for the price

Not a real fault of the property but the neighbouring occupants were quite loud, very very early in the morning and we were in between a group of people that were together and they were shouting across the hall to each other

I have been there before,many years ago, it's now way better,cleaner fresh look,I love it,Mandy is beautiful and very polite

For 3 people in 1 room it's a little small and no privacy ,on the shower area .

The room was very clean and spacious, the staffs(keza,adeline for reception and valens room cleaner) was very cheerful and ever ready to assist at all times. The facility exceeded my expectations.

This was my second stay at the hotel in two weeks and on both occassions the staff were iincreeibly helpful and policy. Special mention to the following people. Khomoto, Sebabetso Kevin and Mandy
