😃😀Thatchfoord Lodge is Beautifull and Clean, in a Quiet Area. Our Room Was Nice and Big With Everything We Needed.. Comfortable Bed, Shower, Fridge, TV and Tea/Coffee Station. I Spend the Weekend with My Sister at The Lodge For My Birthday, It's The Best👌👌 With Breathtaking Views of Nature Arround. Aunty Joyce, The Owner.. Such a Loving and Warm Lady 🫂 She Went Out of Her Way to Ensure We Were Comfortable and Happy. We Were Hungry on Arrival, She Drove Me to Buy Lunch. She Even Surprised Me With a Champagne 🍾 🥂 Wow! I Felt Very Special😃 THANK YOU MAM, MAY GOD BLESS YOU MORE🙏 Monica and Memory Served Us a Delicious Breakfast😋😋 and the Gardener Steven Cleaned the Pool For Us to Take a Dip 🏊‍♂️ 👙 🏊‍♀️ 👙. We Had a Good Braai 🥩🔥 The Nature Trails Along the River Were Amazing. Thatchfoord Lodge is HOME AWAY FROM HOME Ecspecially When You Need Some Peace and Quiet Moment, i'll Definately Go Back👏 👏 👏

Honestly, Nothing. I Liked Everything.

I appreciate their willingness to take us in at very last minute when our initial accommodation let us down. The room was quickly prepared for us & everything was neat & tidy. Their breakfast was also very good, prepared well & they catered to every need. The sound of the river in the backyard added to a tranquil experience, with wonderful walking trails next to it.

WiFi signal in our room was weak.

Position was good for our needs. Well looked after by Joyce and Memory. Good breakfast.

It rained for a good deal of the time we were there and the tiles became a bit slippery so felt safer walking through the wet grass. Unfortunately there wasn’t hot water for showers on one morning of our stay. Was rectified but meant a bit of a wait.

The owner and the staff made sure that we are comfortable and well taken care off. The breakfast was delicious 😋 and the river view was a plus, the sound of water made us sleep more like babies 😊

The place is beautiful and clean. The staff are so friendly and Joyce goes out of her way to help with anything you need. The view is gorgeous and breakfast was delicious.

The channel options on the television are very limited, but that is a small complaint against a wonderful three-night stay.

Stunning location on the Sandspruit river yet very close to Sandton. Amazing birdlife on the doorstep. Joyce and the team are most welcoming and friendly- would highly recommend for an experience you wont get at a big hotel.

The location was near the hospital I needed to be at.. lovely setting with a river sound very tranquil serene

The bed was too small.. the breakfast was very limited for us.. no halaal catering

I liked that they were thoughfull of givibg us a more bigger room.,since we were staying longer.

Breakfast options it was nice but more options such as plain yogurt would have been appreciated.

This is a place to unwind , the place Is peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay here, the stuff and the owner are super friendly not to mention the breakfast because it's very delicious. Will definitely come back here.

Television, poor visuals and some channels don’t have sound. As per television, it was poor.
