Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend! I had a wonderful experience at this guesthouse! The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Big shoutout to Hamza for the outstanding room service — he was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location is also a big plus — it’s in a quiet area, so I got some real rest, but it’s still conveniently close to a lot of stores and essentials. Whether you’re in town for business or just need a peaceful place to unwind, this guesthouse is a great choice. I’ll definitely be back!

The main thing that stood out to me was how welcoming the staff was, especially Vasco, he made me feel safe and at home for the duration of my stay. Overall, the property was clean and very portable for a single person.

Self catering, small single room was well equipped with kettle, microwave, fridge, fan - and large TV screen. It was simple, but had everything I needed. Very clean, spotless. The building was new, so tiles , wash basin etc all fine. For couples or people wanting more space, larger rooms face a pretty garden with a pool. Nice restful decor. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Secure entrance gate. Shady trees along the driveway.

Probably not hosts' fault that the wood of the door had swelled a bit, making it difficult to close. There has been so much rain so damp weather does make wood swell. Also, I had a bit of geriatric difficulty putting in the network code. But I was kindly helped so that wifi worked.

I liked how the staff were always around and more than happy to help me, whether it was a question about a booking or even with how to use the appliances in the room. I would like to personally highlight Hamza,Vasco and James for the wonderful hospitality and for making sure I had the best possible stay at the Rivonia Guest house.

The room was always clean and it had everything I could possibly ask for. From a heater to extra blankets. The properties top notch with even the 24/7 reception the guys were on top of absolutely everything. Definitely a place worth rebooking, and also located in a safe neighbour hood that added to that piece of mind and reassurance that myself and my personal items remained safe at all times

Vasco was the best host , made our stay so much better

Rivonia Guest Lodge is one of the few places that offer a 24hour service and check in. I had an unexpected change of affairs and desperately needed somewhere to check in quite early in the morning. Vasco responded within a minute, as soon as I arrived everything was arranged and all staff were incredibly helpful. Every single staff member takes pride in what they do, they greet you with a smile and go over and above to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It’s great value for money and they are putting all their effort in to continue to elevate your experience. Thank you so much to Vasco and everyone else who went over and above to make sure every need was catered to!

Overall I had a great experience, I am only offering this as constructive feedback - one or two handles on furniture need maintenance. I would also suggest adding a few more outdoor plants with colour just to make the communal areas pop. In the staff and managements defence, the volume of people who come in is quite high and everyday they effortlessly rush between making sure each resident is catered to. Between the influx of people checking in, they still manage to isolate areas where they are improving facilities and doing upgrades. Excellent management and they truly never fail to have a smile on their face, even when they’re under pressure.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly , perfect location , walking distance to the shopping center and restaurants. The area is safe and peaceful. The room was very clean and spacious, wifi was working just fine so we really enjoyed our stay. Definetly coming back soon!

The pool is big but we did not swim cos it was windy when we got there so it got dirty and they only started cleaning it the day before we checked out. And maybe consider installing shower doors because it gets messy in the bathroom .

The location was perfect! Apart from the serenity, tranquility and safety of the location, the staff were amazing! They offered round the clock assistance, from the time of booking, till your arrival on the property. They were very friendly and always ready to help.

The free Wifi was good. However, there were times it disconnected, or was a bit slow. But it always automatically rebooted and was great again.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner, and he was so friendly. His staff is very responsive and they are respectful. The owner drove me to the Rivonia Village to buy a few items, and in the next morning, drove me to where I was supposed to he taking my exam and helpled me find it. He went an extra mile.

I was amazed at the place for a mere price of R495 per night. Bed was nice and comfy soft. Big room with microwave and fridge. Tv. Big bathroom. I like everything about this place

Towels smelled a bit funny. Staff at reception should use underarm antiperspirant deodorant. Wifi is slow.
