This was the best accommodation we have booked so far in South Africa. The view was exquisite. The staff was very friendly and can prepare a fantastic breakfast. Best poached eggs ever. The attention to detail... bath robes, Charlotte Rhys body range, a tissue box, ear buds, make-up cloth. Perfect shower and bath. Long mirror for my wife and then the view... It's absolutely amazing... you see and hear the waves while looking at the river and all that happens on it. Loungers to bask up the sun next to the pool. A fire pit for those special evenings... solar power so that you don't know about loadshedding. The highlight was the Fat Bikes that we used to go cycle on the beach ⛱️ We did not want to leave.

The fact that we could not spend more time there. Will be back for a much longer period soon.

Outstanding staff, fantastic location and incredible views. Our upstairs bedroom had a lounge area alongside, and small kitchenette with a basin and coffee station. Breakfasts were outstanding with wonderful staff who leave you to the house for the rest of the day. Undercover garage parking. It felt like home from home!

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at Oyster Box. We were welcomed so warmly by John, he instantly made us feel like home. The view is outstanding, we stayed on the first floor and woke up with a beautiful sunrise every morning. The bed is a dream. The breakfast is very tasty and fresh - we just loved everything about our stay. Thank you to the team.

Lovely view and access directly to the decking and pool area. Spacious and luxurious suite with access to shared kitchen and laundry facilities.

Poor lighting in bathroom. Towels sometimes smelled a bit stale as there were hooks for them rather than rails. Also, oversized pouffe in sitting area just got in the way. Would have liked a small fridge in our actual suite.

This is one of the best houses we have ever stayed in over a 40-year period of using holiday rentals. Our accommodation was very large, consisting of 2 rooms and a balcony all fittings are of the highest standard. Bed is super big and comfortable. Breakfast is a delight served overlooking the beach and all freshly made to order, even the fruit salad. John, manager, very helpful and obliging. You will feel the calmness of the house while staying there and the views are outstanding. If going back to Kenton this is where we would stay.

A house of this standard should really have AC, at least in the bedrooms, rather than fans. Bathroom tiles are very slippy when wet, and staff need to make sure floor mats are put out daily, especially on the step down from the toilet and shower area within the bathroom. My wife had a nasty fall because of the tyles, and she lost a day out of our stay not being able to leave the house.

The Beach House is ideally located in Kenton with beautiful views of the bay and river mouth. The staff were absolutely friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, amenities and recommendations of activities.

Could have been clearer on the website about the amazingly fully kitted kitchen facilities and washer/drier on the premises.

The most friendly staff welcomes you to this beautiful home. The quality of all the products in the home our outstanding. Comfortable beds, pillows , lush towels and a complete kitchen. No detail missing from this house.

Awesome, wonderful, stunning! I could go on! This is a simply stunning place to stay, total luxury, and nothing left out! I could happily stay here for a few weeks! Views from the house are breathtaking, and the plunge pool is great. This was a totally wonderful property that we wished we were staying for longer in. The breakfast is as good as any 5 star hotel! You feel very spoilt staying here!

The location and view were excellent. Rooms snd living spaces were generous. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A top location for a few days of rest and relaxation.
