We had a wonderful stay at The Quarter Deck. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to get around without having to drive everywhere. The apartment was clean, well-kept, fully equipped for self-catering, and had a warm, inviting feel to it. The staff were friendly and helpful, always quick to respond to any questions or requests, which made the stay even more enjoyable. For the quality of the accommodation and its location, we found it to be excellent value for money. We'd definitely recommend The Quarter Deck to anyone visiting Kenton-on-Sea and would happily stay here again.

The only downside was that the group upstairs were a bit noisy at times.

I really appreciated the clever layout and openness of the space—sliding and folding doors seamlessly connected the indoor areas, creating a relaxed and spacious feel. The private pool and internal braai area were standout features, perfect for unwinding. The view of the ocean was stunning, and the beach was just a short walk away. Beach towels were thoughtfully provided, though the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for a swim. Overall, a peaceful and stylish retreat that’s ideal for a quiet weekend escape.

Some thudding noises from the connecting adjacent rooms were very prevalent.

THe view is SPECTACULAR - the space and everything supplied all good. The linen was top quality. We had a few issues with the sliding door which they came to fix immediately. Staff were great - the breakfast restaurant and shop exceptional. The pool was clean and cold and lovely. We will MOST definitely come back to stay there.

There is a shortage of water in the area but the hot water takes a VERY long time to get to coming out for the shower... felt like a horrible waste of water but it was too cold to have a cold shower.

The communication with the staff was very good, even before arrival - she even waited a few minutes for us. Then, when there was a problem with the unit, she came back and quickly arranged a new unit for us at the House Quarters, with a lovely view.

The unit was partially flooded when we arrived, perhaps indicating that no pre-inspection had been done. However, we were given a new unit within a few minutes.

Beautiful, well-appointed; has all the comforts of home. Really comfortable

The fact that the unit downstairs is connected to the rest of the house, yet you don’t know who’s staying down there didn’t have me entirely comfortable at night especially. It would also be nice to have electric blankets on the beds

Very comfortable space. Beds, linen and towels were very nice. Location is good but has no sea view on lower levels where the 2 bedrooms units are.

There wasn’t a braai or patio set outside which was strange for self catering unit. We had to request a braai and eat on our laps on the couch.

The place is so so beautiful,clean and with elegant deco,I highly recommend this place for your next travel adventure! Everything about the property was exceptional.

Rooms doesn’t have ironing facility and can’t get hold of staff easily.

The location screams relax!! although i planned to push some work all i could is take the rest i needed. The saff exceptional, the resturant, food clean and healty, ginger was my highlight and oh my! their scones.. yums. i could go there anytime of the year. really enjoyed our stay and few people around us was great. :)

More resturants or expand the existing one so that we don't have to wait to enter and for food. it becomes too much, but the food, will make you wait...n don't mind.

Lovely spacious, bright apartment. Wonderful entertainment space and gorgeous little pool. Conveniently located. Loved the beaches, restaurants and had a super holiday!

This was our second stay, we enjoyed it. The location is central to everything you want to do. The place exceeded our expectations, loved the bathroom. Breakfast at the kitchen is soo nice even the restaurant around they really have nice food. You will not regret your stay.

There was electricity problem which was solved by our hosts and we appreciated their communication.
