Very comfortable stay for myself and two kids. The aircon warmed up the living area nicely as it was very cold. Nice big main bed.

There seemed to be an overload of electricity when we had the aircon, heater and kettle on at the same time, which tripped the lights a couple of times. Being a very cold time of year, it was necessary to use all at the same time. The owner said she would have an electrician see to it.

Comfortable, quiet, pool for kids, braai place, wifi, restaurants and supermarket closer, closer to Avalon springs which was main aim of visiting Montague

Communication from owner was somehow a bit harsh on mistake happened between myself and booking. com regarding rooms /price/number of people booked. But I expressed how do I feel about it and she apologized and I was fine accepted her apology.

Ekstra moeite met blommetjies op bed steel die hart. Warmkombers was aan. Heerlik! Admin uitstekend saam met verwelkomingsboodskap, sowel as Sat boodskap. Salige rustige atmosfeer.

Kopkant v bed voel afdraend. Matras het geskuif sonder rede. Hoe gemaak met die vuil koppies? Het maar in die wasbak gespoel. Geen sunlight Warmkombers was aan. Ek het ni geweet en sweterig wakker geraak. Gedog die duck feathers slaap snoesig.🤭 Parkering vir lang bakkie 'n geweldige uitdaging. Wie WEET waar die buitelig aanskakel. Vloerlap asb! Mooi stoele, maar pla voor die kas. Baie dankie.

I loved the way we were advised of everything to do with our stay from where to have a meal on the Sunday evening (which restaurants were open) to travelling there and the adverse weather conditions on the morning before we arrived.

I can think of nothing which can be improved - the layout of the cottage where we stayed was perfect. In finer weather we could even have gone for a swim in the cute small swimming pool.

The lodge was the ideal place to take a break from home. Everything about the place, mountain view and friendly host was amazing. I would definitely return it was worth the money

Nothing that I didn't like. Just suggest that in the couple apartment there should be bar chairs

Friendly service. Homely atmosphere, spacious rooms. Interior artistically decorated. Abundant information material about activities and sight-seeing in the area.

Staff not on site to attend to guests for part of the day/after hours. Sometimes the entrance gate was left open because guests need to check in and out by themselves, which causes a safety issue.

Location is in the heart of Montagu and very well looked after. Spot on directions to the guest house, very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and nice warm bedding. Green, healthy beautiful garden and lovely stoep, beautiful surroundings. Spacious rooms and offer all the necessary facilities needed with safe parking. Will definitely visit again and can recommed.

Loo Karoo Guest Lodge was comfortable and fully equipped for our self catering needs. The accommodation was perfectly located to access our planned mountain hikes. Also just a short walk into town to grab a nice bite to eat and drink at Mitchell’s Bar.

The only things that we could of done with was a surface to put items on as the bedroom area was lacking this facility.

Very good location! A lot of restaurants and some art galleries are in very short walking distance. The room was very nice and very neat! Everything you need is there! The communal kitchen is clean and very well equipped. The host was very welcoming, nice and helpful! And she gave us so much good advise! We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Lovely spacious cottage, warm bedding and all the amenities needed, and more, provided for a delightful stay! Christine was a wonderful host, she also provided great recommendations for our few days in Montagu.

Wish we could have stayed longer. :)
