Lovely hosts, really welcoming with a glass of wine. Michael gave us a private tour of his fantasic model & memorabilia Ferrari museum which was stunning what a man cave! Comfy beds. Fridge with honesty box for drinks or BYOB. Great local information and recommendations. Secure parking in a safe area. Good location in Montagu.

Room was very warm not helped by load shedding which meant the fan didn't work sometimes. Bathroom was great but guests need to realise it's private but across the corridor. Integrated School can be noisy on week days but a lovely sound of kids from all backgrounds playing with each other.

What a surprise to be staying in a lovely, characterful home! Everything was spotless and we liked the fact that we were given the option of a flat sheet as well for the beds. The towels were luxurious as well. The location is the best in Montagu and we strongly recommend this property of Mike and Anne.

Nothing at all except our stay of one night only, was too short.

Cosy and comfortable little room with all amenities, close to restaurants and in a quiet, pretty part of Montagu. A selection of wines provided on "honesty bar" basis. There's a microwave, crockery and fridge - but it's not equipped for preparing a meal but rather just reheating or takeaway. Lovely table in the garden at the back to enjoy sundowners. Mike was a friendly and warm host.

Cost was below pain threshold - was given a spacious ‘apartment’ with enormous bedroom - like all Karoo homes - also a cold fridge to store stuff in -very central so can easily walk to restaurants / pubs - was possible to park my bike in a secure area and given my own remote to come and go..

Not much not to like - maybe a table and chairs out in the sun ?

Good old-fashioned hospitality here. Beautiful, large, classic house and very welcoming and helpful hosts. Lovely room and bathroom. Everything clean. Everything works.

"mountain view" is maybe a strong word for the view from the room. I also forgot that quest houses / B&B's are different from other types of accommodation in that you don't have a private entrance. Just keep this in mind when booking :-) WiFi data is not unlimited, so be careful with streaming.

Anne and Mike were extremely nice hosts who assisted with helpful tips for thongs to do in Montagu, where to eat; the breakfast wss fantastic and they made sure to make the room as confortable as possible with extra mstrasses, blankets etc. It felt like a family home :)

Montagu is a beautiful small town, depending on where you decide to stay you can walk to the restaurant and back to your accommodation. Our hosts from our initial communication to the end were amazing. Their home is well maintained, really made us feel at home.

Location was perfect. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Host were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. After a long day out, the shower was amazing.

Would have loved some vegan breakfast options, but was happy with toast and jam.

Had a fantastic time staying at Mike and Anne's place in Montagu. The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, the accommodation was very cozy and the location was perfectly central. The BnB also has the added benefits of a private sports bar (where rugby was hosted whilst we stayed) and a remarkable model Ferrari collection which was an absolute pleasure to enjoy with Mike. We'll certainly be back - would highly recommend!

It was nice to have a warm breakfast in the morning. It was really appreciated, especially the variety that was provided. LOVED IT
