Tambuti is the best accommodation experience I think I've ever had. Better than any 4* or 5* hotel that I've stayed at, so truly exceptional. The warmth of the welcome, the attention to detail, the thoughtfulness and care - all were just wonderful. Plus we had tremendous food and drink, a beautiful building and location, and a marvellous guided safari experience. Very intimate (just 5 suites) and outstanding in every respect.

Nothing - it was all just great! Admittedly, the swimming pool is more of a plunge pool and it is unheated. But even that was a refreshing experience after a dusty journey.

Tambuti is part of Black Rhino and as such get exclusive access to large parts of the park, away from the mass of public and hotel resort visitors, and with exclusive access to many of the territories of some of the rarer animals such as Cheetah and Leopard, the derives are an absolute pleasure. The guides from Black Rhino share knowledge with each other and have a protocol on who can arrive, and in what order when there is something unusual to see. This means that the animals are left to be in their own environment without vans and cars jostling for position and often there is just you and the animal in perfect tranquility. The food is fabulous, the staff are all awesome, you will not find better than this I promise you Highly recommended

Everything was perfect!! Probably the best hotel experience we ever had! Perfect welcoming, extremely friendly staff (without being too much), beautiful outside areas with amazing atmosphere created with oil lamps and candles, great experience on the fire pit over a drink and a great chat upon arrival from game drive, spotless pool area. Loved the “mi casa, tu casa” concept where we could help ourselves to the open bar. The sleeping room was beautiful and spotless clean. The food was amazing and the chefs really friendly, the high teas phenomenal…… we could go on and on and on about Tambuti. Go do yourselves a favour a book this lodge!

Absolutely nothing, all perfect!!

Spacious room as described online, only 6 rooms, privacy with outdoor shower area. The perfect spot for young couples especially honeymooners Staff always ready to support, enlighten, or suggest Game drives included in price All-inclusive extended to the bar including “premium” beverages.

Although the property requests health & dietary information, items appearing on my plate gave me a feeling my submission had not been read. A paradise for young lovers is not going to be as pleasant for solo travelers. Food was limited in quantity: most items pre-plated. The game drives in a jeep in radio contact with other jeeps in the reserve means about 30 people will all be dashing to whatever animal has been sighted from one Jeep. Gratuities were $ubtly yet $trongly $uggested.

The food here was absolutely incredible!!!! Chef Edith spoilt us with the most amazing meals every single day and even made us a special something on the day of our departure. The staff went above and beyond on everything! Chef Edi, Marcia the assistant manager and Malcolm the general manager in particular made our stay one we will never ever forget - however every single member of their team we engaged with were really a pleasure! Their guest interaction is 5 star!! The units are beautiful - very spacious, clean and so so tranquil. This is the perfect spot for a couples get away! The attention to detail on the little things is really special! The turn down service with a piece of fudge on your pillow every night was a sweet gesture! We had a private candle light dinner and a bubble bath on our first night's stay for our 10 year anniversary. This was so so special! The amount of incredible sightings we had on every single game drive was spectacular!

Amazing stay. Staff was very helpful, they make you feel like home. Rooms are big, clean and very confortable. Food is very good, we loved the dinner served at the room! It was our honeymoon trip and everuthing was great! The games were nice, we were not luck the first ones but in the last we saw lions and elefants!

Everything from the welcome to the end! All the people are so happy and excited! It was a wonderful stay! The chefkok was amazing 🤩 The guide was so helpful and informative about the animals and we saw the BIG 5!! He did al the best to see with us as most as possible. The host was kind and will do anything to make it comfortable for us. My wife was pregnant and they did everything to make it comfortable for us!! Don’t hesitate to book here!!

I liked almost everything, especially game rides with our guide Martin.

I did not like the cold lunch, it was really basic, I expected some cooked food. I don't really understand why I had to pay 2000 more than my colleague, who is a S.A. resident. This is a private property, and the price should be based on the expenses and the profit margin.

A very good lodge, Everything was fine, very friendly and recommended at any time. The staff are a dream here, you are really welcomed. The food was also perfect. The safari is also highly recommended here as the guide is very experienced. we will definitely come again. Andre´ Top accommodation
