Fantastic property, beautiful and clean. The outside space was so good to relax and take a dip in the plunge pool when it got a bit warm. The bed and linens were so nice. It was very quiet and we felt totally safe walking round the area. Went to the Lazy Lizzard for lunch and Yellow House for dinner. Both places were excellent. Thank you for a great stay and would definitely recommend if you’re in Prince Albert. Made it down the Swartberg Pass in a small sedan car with no problem, as it was dry and we took it slowly. What a drive!

Would be great to have a washing machine if you’re staying for a longer period of time. We were here for 3 nights so wasn’t a problem, as we had one in the next place.

Very pretty place with lovely trees and really tastefully appointed. Very spacious and clean. It is situated two roads back from the main road so is quiet. It is close to all the restaurants and shops. Plenty of off road parking for cars and trailers. Self catering. perfect for a family of 4

It would be unfair to say that I did not like anything as the hosts have really thought of every detail. The cottage is ideal for a family and maybe 2 couples. 2 bedrooms. One with 2 single beds. Bathrooms separate

Second time staying here. It’s the best place of many that I’ve stayed at in Prince Albert. Everything is so comfortable, so well thought out, beautifully furnished and just lovely to spend time in. Whether you’re working, relaxing, having a siesta, enjoying wine by the pool or playing games or reading in the lounge. This is a perfect stay.

Lovely Location - so easy to walk to the cafes and shops and a pretty quaint street for an evening stroll.

We noticed that the window ledges above the main bed and in the bathroom had not been cleaned or dusted due to the number of dead insects up there, We only know this as we were in the process of swatting a fly. Also please can you supply a few more coffee mugs :)

From the moment we stepped into the property and i saw the Freda Khalo pics on the wall, it was clear that this property is going to be balm to all soul, emotion and all senses. Superbly decorated, superior linen, the closest to perfection in every respect. Our stay at this house, set a very high standard for all future s/catering selection.

Very comfortable home with secure off street parking. Fabulous fire place in the lounge for the cold winter nights. Well equipped. Lovely outside entertainment area that would be well used in summer. Just a lovely stay. Excellent value for money.

Elfen House is a beautiful haven in Prince Albert. Its strategically calm design and interior, and beautifully appointed decor add to the feeling of serenity in the space. It was incredible value for money and close enough to walk to all the places of interest on the main road.

Elfen house was comfortable, clean and convenient. We did not cook there, but it was well equipped. Also had basics like milk, tea, coffee and rusks. It was also well equipped with electric blankets and extra blankets for the cold weather.

I can’t actually put into words how perfect this gem of a place is. I have put off writing a review for weeks because I still feel a little speechless. We can’t WAIT to return, and to stay for longer than our original one night stay…I would love to spend a week here, just shutting off from the outside world and enjoying the serenity and calm that envelops you as soon as you arrive. Exquisitely decorated, with everyone one might need for a bit of ‘breathing space’. Prince Albert is magical, but the reason I want to come back so soon is to visit Elfen House again…thank you for a stunning stay.

We were a party of 3 adults, staying in the main house. The rooms were well appointed, neat and perfect for our stay. The kitchen and living room had everything we needed for self catering. The plunge pool was a treat.
