The day shift receptionist was very welcoming and patient with us. She gave us full orientation with clear guidance and made us feel at home. The room was very neat and cozy. I loved the spacious bathroom, and they provided enough towels

I requested for the iron and ironing board, but the iron was not working. There was communication breakdown between myself and the house keepers as they were only Afrikaans speaking, which I do not understand. The night receptionist refused to put the lights on for us to go out through the back exit as we left around 2 am. It was not easy to find our way out due to decreased visibility

The room was neat and clean safe parking very friendly staff at reception.

I ordered dinner and paid but I waited long until they forgot about me i had to go down to the reception and waited for them ti fix the issue and when the food came there was no cutlery. There was a kettle but mo source of water. I found it unhygienic to fetch water from the sink it toilet since it a public one.

Swimming pool, on-site parking, gym, lounge areas. Bar fridge in room, air conditioning. Comfortable bed.

No good tv reception. Pillows were too soft and flat. Bath is dangerous to climb into to shower. Basin taps need some fixing. It keeps sqeaking when you open or close them. No breakfast included

Beautiful ambiance, tranquil atmosphere,clean and comfortable.. Staff at reception very friendly and helpfull.

Food and staff at the restaurant was poor. Burnt ribs covered in a lot of sauce made the food inedible.. Steak was undercooked although I asked for well done. Potato wedges were hard and dry.. Would not reccomend the Restaurant. Cocktails were not available and no cocktail menu.

Booking .com made a double booking when I got there no rooms available. The receptionist explained me the whole process very helpful as I was tired from a whole day of travelling. She went out of her way to find me alternative accomodation. I would any time recommend this established,ent if one gets such special treatment

I liked everything about Cumberland. I had an excellent experience especially my daughter that I was visiting who is a student a Stellenbosch university. Food was excellent, nice and at a good price. Spa, gym, squash without paying extra fee. staff very kind and willing to assist any time you need help.

Everything was to our satisfaction, accommodating staff, location near to shop and restaurants. Very relaxing and laid back and enjoyable facility.

Just our supper the first night did not agree with our stomachs. We had the 300 ribs and chips, as well as the burger and chips meals.

The walk up the stairs.It would really help if an elevator can be built in the hotel it will definitely be of great help, especially when carrying luggage, and it will help people who have special needs like foot or knee operations.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating and excellent customer service.

The long and tedious walk to the new rooms we were assigned to. The room had torn lamp shades, The bathroom needed some TLC . There was no fridge for out cooldrinks, or water for the kettle.
