The property is amazing with many smaller buildings on a large estate giving wine yard / farm feelings. The garden in between buildings is beautifully maintained and the surroundings with the mountains is stunning. The entire team is fantastic and very attentive, polite and professional. We felt very well taken care off. the breakfast is delicious with many different options and you can sit outside enjoying the beautiful landscape and garden. We stayed in the wine year suite which was perfection. Beautifully renovated with one big main room incl. sleeping and living area, one walk-in closet and a large bathroom.

One of the best hotels we stayed in during 2 weeks in South Africa. We came early September and were the only guests in Adara. Team ordered a taxi and a table in the towns best restaurant as they didn't open their restaurant yet. We enjoyed the large bedroom and the most comfy bed I've ever had. Best world's hotel can not provide the bed of such a quality. You simply drown in a cloud like white and soft paradise. We asked to set the fire once we came after dinner. The fire was ready before we came and that made us fell at home. Delicious breakfast, spacious rooms and very lovely team. We enjoyed every minute.

Nothing. Just make sure you set the fire for winter or spring time as you may feel cold.

We spent about 3 weeks in South Africa and I can say that was the best place we stayed in. The estate is the old 17th-century winery that was converted to guest houses. Beautiful surroundings combined with modern comfort, you can't go wrong here. Everything was exceptional, the location, the amenities, the size and the comfort of the rooms. The rooms have heated flour which was very important for us since we travelled in the winter with pretty cold nights. The breakfast consisted of a cold buffet style and a hot from the menu. I got eggs benedict with cauliflower hash browns and smoked salmon and it was outstanding. They serve superb guano jam that is made on the estate. I would recommend this hotel and I am sorry that we didn't stay longer.

The stay was too short.

The Adara staff were beyond complimentary and excellent, we had a family incident on the day of our booking and had to postpone our booking, and we were sorted out and made to feel that we didn't cause any undue issues, which was extremely kind of the managers. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff members and treated to complimentary cake and coffee as well as well as an incredible room. The restaurant dinner and breakfast were superb, and once again the staff made us feel as if we were royalty. Safety and security is felt throughout the estate. Departure was effortless and overall the stay was 5-star worthy.

We could not find the WiFi password in the room or on the arrival sheet, but honestly we did not even need it. The estate offered so many other amenities that we did not even realise we were without WiFi on our devices. This could have also just been avoided if we asked the staff.

Adara Hotel is such a peaceful place. We spent 4 nights with our 2 kids (1/2year and 2 1/2y), who enjoyed the family rooms (mountain view room no. 7, including nice kitchenette with full bean coffee machine and even oat milk!). Everything was so clean and everybody was so friendly. As it was very hot, we stayed at the private pool two full days, which has been cleaned at least every morning. The kids loved the big areal, the squirrels and the birds as well as the sprinklers on the lawn. The restaurant was so good and the waiters helped us with our kids, when they were already done with eating. The wine is fantastic as well. I recommend the excellent Chenin blanc. The Pastery Chef did even bake a lovely birthday cake for my wife We made a trip to babylonstoren, which we definitely recommend (~20 min drive)

I loved everything about this place. The facilities are impeccable. It’s clean and the attention to detail in the room and breakfast area is commendable. I love how professional and kind the staff is. The fact that we had our suite cleaned everyday while we were at breakfast without asking was nice gesture, we had our fireplace lit for us in the evenings as well. The rooms are extremely cosy. It’s definitely one of the best places you can ever stay in the Winelands. Thank you to the wonderful team at Adara for an amazing stay.

The staff were professional, really friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Our accommodation was spotless and exceeded our expectations, the views from the hotel are breath-taking. There were lovely touches, like flowers and fruit in the room etc. The breakfast was delicious as was the food when we ate in the restaurant. I would go back to this hotel without hesitation

We had the BBQ one night but the wind had got up and it made it a bit cold and windy to be eating outside.

Everything was way above expectations! The place is stunning and really well maintained. Beautiful houses and gardens under magnificent trees. Breakfast and diners under the tree or on the terrace were delicious and the staff absolutely lovely made you feel at home. Little details of attention along the day, small capacity which makes it feel like you have privatised the place most of the time. Extremely relaxing and pleasant THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

if I had to be picky, the pool could be a little more taken care of but it wasn't a biggy at all

The environment was beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant had amazing food that made me feel fresh and revitalised. The chef even took the opportunity to explain each meal which was a wonderful surprise. The hotel is very much comfortable but what brings the magic is that they are very much environmentally conscience (using coffee beans instead of pods). The pool offered me a great experience as a vacationer. The landscape is so beautiful that I got lost in it. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that I had to leave that place. The staff were amazing and I will definitely go back.

The location on a fruit farm with stunning mountain views is superb. Access to Paarl and surrounds is very easy. The hotel is full of character. The breakfast was excellent.

The dining room was a bit cramped and a real wood fire instead of the gas imitation would have been a bonus. Beware of the width of the gate entering the property it is too small to be practical.
