We decided to find a place to stay over for Valentine's weekend and I found Oak Tree Lodge which was located close to the restaurant I wanted to visit. I didn't have any expectations, but when we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the view from our room and the fact that it was located right next to the pool. It's hard to imagine that the accommodation is located on the Main Road in Paarl once you're on the premises. Breakfast was lovely and we didn't want to leave. We were very impressed!! The staff added to the relaxed atmosphere.

I wouldn't have minded having some muffins or sweet pastries during breakfast, even though its probably better that I didn't have that option. ;)

After a disappointing experience at another establishment, my young son and I had to find alternative accommodation on a very short notice. Oak Tree Lodge not only accommodated us, but went above and beyond to offer additional support. Their friendly assistance, neatness of the room, beautiful pool, free wifi, secure parking, and most of all, willingness to go the extra mile for their customers, are all reasons why I can recommend this establishment with confidence. My family and I will definitely stay here again in future.

Everything honestly exceeded my expectations.

Very friendly ladies at the reception and kitchen staff, good breakfast with lots of fruit amongst many other things and oat milk, which I had asked for at the time of booking. Large bed and room. Modern bathroom with an excellent shower and toiletries provided. Room was facing the main road but thanks to new windows (in addition to the old ones) it was quiet. Central location with a vineyard in walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The interaction by the owner and attention to detail added value. The breakfast was 10/10 and unbeatable. The balcony with a view over the town and mountains was magnificent. A mini fridge allowed for snacks and cold drinks to be enjoyed on the balcony. The pool on the premises was stunning. The wifi connection allowed for receipt of emails and uninterrupted business communication.

The front rooms facing the street and the restaurant across the street can be a little noisy, especially on a Saturday night.

I got room 12 at the bottom and was pleasantly surprised at how quite is was seeing it was facing the main-road and the kitchen. Must admit the double doors did make a huge difference. Parking was ample, the entrance gate security controlled and easy to get in and out of the main road via a robot. Room had everything you required and the breakfast great. The selection was stunning and the lady assisting us was very friendly and helpful. Does make a difference when you have just woken up and have to face another day of fast paced work ahead. I will stay here again and has no hesitation to recommend it for a refreshing overnight.

Pool lovely and very comfortable poolside loungers and towels. Breakfast was more than adequate and plenty on offer. Our room was huge ( room 31) and perfect to relax in. It’s not the most modern of places but that didn’t bother us as facilities and location ( we could walk to the vineyard Laborie which was wonderful) were excellent. Staff were more than helpful too.

i have requested for halaal breakfast, although i could eat the musli and yoghurt there was no reservation made to get macon which is halaal. we were not evens sure if the sausage was halaal. upon asking the lady if she is aware we requested for halaal her answer was they did not inform her. although the lady at reception confirmed she made a note of our request.

The breakfast was exceptionally good value for money. We were a party of 10, everyone had a different order and all were perfectly prepared. Generous portions, well prepared. We were only there overnight, so did not make use of the facilities, but the swimming pool area is lovely, right next to the vineyards and very well maintained. What a lovely place with lovely people. We had a fabulous room (not all are as good) that was spacious and bright. Breakfasts were all good and were in nice bright rooms. The pool area was a treat after a hot day out.There were several resteraunts within walking distance. We would be very happy to stay there again.

The facility and the rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. On top of that the owner was very kind and supported us in all our needs and gave us valuable tips for our trip. Hard to find a better place and a better welcome
