Coveniently situated near restaurants for an evening meal, although I was advised not to walk but rather drive!

I thought the price for the breakfast - 2 eggs, slice of tomato, mushrooms, 2 small sausages & 2 rashers bacon with 2 slices of toast and coffee - was a bit steep at R150.00! Hot water from the taps in the basin and bath was brown. Perhaps you should check pipes for rust... Noise from the street in the front room (No. 1) during the night was disturbing - prbably not much you can do about that!

Overall spacious, nice guesthouse with everything you need including pool. Staff was nice. Breakfast is prepared on order (warm or cold). Rooms have air con, a fan, fridge, TV and gas to boil water.

While this is technically a nice place to stay, we did not feel 100% at home / comfortable e.g., light in room was not good, bed was hard incl. hard spot for a control, super old TV (no Netflix etc.) and terrace is shared by everyone without privat spots.

The host that checked us in from Zimbabwe was wonderful. She helped us with everything we needed. She also cooked a wonderful breakfast. The room was clean and everything seemed to work properly. The outside garden was spectacular. The parking was extra secure, along with the facility. Walking to a nice restaurant for dinner was easy.

The toilet and shower were not closed off from the room. This made privacy, an issue between two traveling buddies. I recommend access to laundry services, (washer and dryer).

Staff is super friendly and helpful, bed is comfortable and room is clean and spacious. Location was perfect and parking was available and I felt very safe to stay there.

I stayed in room number 8 and the last day of my stay another guest checked in to the room above me, it was noisy and I could hear every step and everything that was done upstairs, this was terrible as I was woken every time with footsteps.

Booked for 1 double bed and one single. Were given a room with a (thank goodness), one big bed for the three of us. We were offered a change, but was late and just wanted to get to bed. We had to then go back out to reception to ask for towels and soap as the room was not quite prepared anyway.

We stayed at The Habit Guesthouse for 4 days. We were greeted friendly by Chane on arrival. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfy. The breakfast was delicious. The Habit is very central and the mall is close by. Very secure and safe parking for the cars. On our arrival after a night out - hot water bottle in the room with a rechargeable light for loadshedding. I will highly recommend this place.

We like the large property as well as the safe and secure covered parking. The property lends itself to staying more than one day as the Lounge has a great view of the garden and large swimming pool. The shower pressure was one of the best i have experience and the staff accommodated us with an early arrival as well as early departure.

no bottle opener. Access route to the back parking is on the narrow side, maybe some reflective strips can be a useful guide.

Room facing the street a bit noisy. The entrance/exit is extremely narrow, my car could hardly fit in. R150 for breakfast is a bit steep.

We had no breakfast. All my thanks to the reception lady that was waiting for us when we arrived late. So friendly and help full. 10 out 10 for her! Will definitely booked again a place at The Habit in the future. The rooms were clean and very spacious.

We had to extend our stay for a night without any warning. Portia was amazing, ensuring we could use the same room we had stayed in. She was incredibly friendly, hospitable and kind considering we were in town for a family emergency. Would highly recommend! The food was also FANTASTIC!
