We loved everything! It was quite clean, cozy and safe, the room was enough for two/three people, and futons turned out to be comfortable! The location is just perfect — near the Golden Street, yet it’s still easy to get to the Tombs on foot. The bus that goes from the airport stops right near the place, which was a relief for us (we were two girls with huge luggage after shopping in Seoul) The family that owns this guesthouse are the nicest people, they met with us and let us keep our luggage in the main room for the whole day after we moved out. Thank you for your hospitality — we’ll totally come again!

This is a private property with rooms to serve as guesthouse. The ondol room that I booked was perfect for solo traveller with a 28” luggage. It had a private toilet and several charging ports to charge my electronic devices and it was very clean. The location can be quite hidden from the Main Street, as it is in the alley, fortunately naver map and the owner gave very clear instructions on locating the guesthouse. The owner was so kind and helpful to help me book a taxi to the Gyeongju Intercity Bus Terminal to Suncheon and waited with me to load my luggage up the taxi, which I appreciate so much as my luggage was so heavy.

Nil, although breakfast was listed as included in the booking.com. I didn’t get to utilise it and I also didn’t ask the owner. I initially thought that the guesthouse is near the Gyeongju Train station so I booked it but it is now relocated to the Shin Gyeongju KTX train station probably 30-45mins away from the guesthouse with 2 bus transfers.

The location is almost in the middle of the Golden Street fashion center, making shopping and dining super easy and convenient. Also very easy to walk to the bus stops to catch tourist loop bus number 10 and 11 and also any other normal buses. The bed and pillows were 5 stars hotel quality, very comfortable. The room was small and cozy.

Dragging suitcases along the alleyway going to the house was a bit troublesome. Also, within the premise was not very suitcase friendly. But could be managed somehow.

Great bed, lots of thoughtful touches like a table and chair, lamp, coat rack, slippers and blinds(!) Also the heated floor was a welcome bonus! Really lovely place, stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful, peaceful time! Momo (🐶) and Jane are both excellent hosts, and Jane was super attentive to our needs. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Gyeongju!

The bathroom ceiling was slightly lower than expected but it wasn't really any trouble at all 🙂

Good, basic accommodation in Gyeongju, close to many sights, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet location. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful, with a small fridge in the room. WiFi was available, but we used our own. Parking info was provided in advance of our stay. A 10 minute walk for free, ample parking and a 2 minute walk away from a private car park that is free after 9pm until 9am.

Room was very small, but we knew this in advance.

This was a great little guesthouse to stay near the centre of Gyeongju. The room was of a good size, and the futon style bed was comfy with a heated floor underneath. The shower was decent, and a clean bathroom with shower gel supplied. The check-in was easy, and the owner was quite helpful.

I loved my stay here at the momojein guesthouse. The hosts including the cute doggie were extremely helpful, welcoming and made sure I was comfortable. Great location nearby shops, restaurants and local buses. Also within walking distance of the historical sites. I stayed in the Korean traditional room and the futon for the floor was extremely comfortable. Room was spacious for one person and was nuce to have the private bathroom. Cannot highly recommend enough.

No down sides I love it!!

This stay can be described with one word: quietness. The house is in a back alley, and the room we got had the only window directed to the inside of the patio. It made it kind of dark inside, but for sleeping, it was great. Super comfy beds (only a little too thick cover).

The bathroom was like a bunker, you had to bend to get through the door (and I'm 170cm tall) and go down a step. Once inside, the WC was on a higher step, and the showering place one step more down. And if you tried to stand upright on this higher step, you hit your head in the ceiling. Taller people would also have a problem with showering, as it was just enough for me to stand there straight. The room was dark, so it was nice for sleeping, but during the day you still had to use the artificial light.

Nothing! I loved my stay! Only at night the tiny dark alleyway to the accommodation might look scary.

The location. It is close from main attraction in Gyeongju such as Hwangnidan-gil and Daereungwon. I also really love the blanket. It is so soft and smooth that makes me want to keep bundled up. The bed and pillow also really comfortable and clean. I also like the fact they provide the small night lamp & charging port near the bed. Amenities quite complete. They provide tooth paste but no tooth brush. Enough roll tissue and towels + a lot of clothes hanger.

The bathroom design is a bit weird. They are lower than the bedroom, so you have to keep your head down when entering and especially when going out. Always keep in mind! Haha since I got my head knocked on the door in my first night staying there.
