The location and the traditional building. The experience of sleeping in a traditional hanok. The delicious coffees and pastries in the cafe next to the hotel (Do not disturb cafe).

The discrepancy between the style of the bathroom (modern minimalist) and the old/traditional style of the room. There is no indirect/small light in the room (i.e., only one main selling spotlight).

At the time of booking, Google Earth showed a rather derelict neighbourhood. However, it has recently been transformed into a K-culture area. Young Korean couples, many in traditional Hanbok dress, come here on romantic dates for the cute shops and arcades in the fair-ground atmosphere. It's just like being in your own K-drama! There is now a good variety of places to eat nearby. The hotel itself offers it's guests the opportunity to dress in Hanbok for free and wander around the scenic hotel village. It is also close to the historic sites Gyeongju is famous for.

The room lighting was rather bright, which highlighted the fact that the walls could have done with a lick of paint. The sleeping on the floor was more uncomfortable than I anticipated, but that's how it is in a Hanok. It's probably OK if you're young.

It was a beautiful hotel in the traditional Hanok style. The location was great as you’re right in the heart of the restaurants and shops. Bathroom was great. Lovely shower

We chose to sleep on the floor in the traditional manner but in hindsight our western bodies maybe aren’t made for that sleeping option. Regrets ha

Beautiful buildings and setting, very clean bathrooms, confortable rooms.

No water refills near the room, only in the lobby. Only 1 big towel for 3 people.

Really cute traditional stay. Great location and free Hanbok for 1 hr for guests!

It is VERY basic which was to be expected, but overall still great

It is a very pretty place to stay in a terrific location with much to see and do within walking distance. I’d recommend two nights as a minimum

The shower was difficult to work so I gave up and didn’t wash my hair, they say they are being green but there was a noticeable lack of toiletries in comparison to even cheap accomodations we stayed in. We couldn’t work out how to stop or control the air con so my daughter was very cold on the floor.

the place was amazing, the staff was nice and the location was very good for tourism activities!

the staff wasn't good speaking english but they tried their best, also they let us keep the luggages only until 13h although we needed until 16h so we went to a locker in the street and payed for it for the hours left we needed. The bathroom smells a bit I think it's a pipes problem idk

Super unique place to stay! The front desk was very friendly in helping us check in. The beds are comfortable by doubling up the mats (three provided).

The rooms are not very quiet, and neighbors can be easily heard.
