Good cheap accommodation in Jeju City. Three minutes walk from the main restaurant/bar streets. What raises this guesthouse to another level is the helpfulness of the owner. On arrival he helped me sort out a permit for Hallasan and explained transport. On my last day, he saw me heading out to a launderette with a bag of dirty clothes. He stopped me and said he would do my washing for free. I went out and returned later to find a bag of clean and neatly folded laundry outside my room.

The room was fairly basic, but given the price better than expected

Stayed in the dorm for 1 night, slept very well. Shower had good water pressure. The bed and sheets were very cozy, and place is quiet. There's also curtains for added privacy which is nice. The owner was friendly and let me store my luggage after I checked out. Overall very good value for the money

Only 1 bathroom in the 8 person dorm which wasn't a problem for me since there were only one other girl staying at the time. But I can imagine if more people stayed there might be wait for the bathroom.

Floor super clean. You can literally walk barefooted around. The owner was nice. He will acknowledge you even when you bump into each other in the streets. I find it easy to travel around although some places might take a longer travelling time but it was still good for me. Bus stops are all nearby.

Mr Mun (I hope I spell that correctly!) was super helpful when it came to giving me recommendations, even late at night! There were two separate bathrooms, one in the room and another common one. The kitchen is large, there were nice clementines for grabs :). Location is also really good! Room was generally quiet as well and there are large lockers, enough space to put your stuff! All in all sleeping was quite comfortable, they have floor heating at night, a nice thick blanket, a good pillow and a hard mattress which I prefer.

I, like many travellers, overlooked the part where you need to leave between 10:00 and 16:00. This wasn't an issue for me as I had stuff planned early anyways, but on a relaxing holiday this would be a bit of a bummer. The following take it with a grain of salt because this was basically my first time in a hostel and I didn't know what to expect, but some of the other guests would leave the bathroom quite messy. I however didn't stay long enough for this to bother me. Lastly the little lamp on the wall in the bed made an annoying high pitched sound when you turned it on making using it unpleasant (bed 5 room 6).

The host was more or less always present. This meant that he was able to answer our questions! when we checked in he showed us around the facility which included a very big, well equipped kitchen. I hiked up Hallasan mountain on the first day and he washed my kit, free of charge, so that it did not sit in my bag for the rest of the trip and smell bad. we were a group of 5 girls and could not fault it. The location was perfect, the room was great, the shower came with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste. would definitely recommend this to any other traveller

What really makes this guesthouse is the host! He is so kind and helpful! He did my laundry for free and guided me around Sanbangsan mountain! He helped me find someone to eat BBQ with as well 😊 he couldn't have done more for me. The place was very clean, it had heated flooring in the dorm (which made it nice and toasty in the room), the shower had hot water, toiletries were provided, you could refill water for free and there was a social area to sit in the kitchen. The location is great! It's right next to a bus stop, so you can get to most places by bus if you don't drive. The airport is not far away. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come again if I come back to Jeju!

You have to vacate the premises from 10-4pm so that the host can clean everywhere. This wasn't too much of an issue for me, as I was out for that time every day anyway.

We stayed here only one night to be near to the airport before our flight the next day. It was very convenient with direct busses to the airport from just outside the guesthouse. Room was comfortable and there is a large shared kitchen. The owner was also very friendly and helpful!

There is a free parking area a block or two behind the guesthouse, however it was super busy and a little chaotic when we were trying to park. Not a problem if you’re just using public transport to/from here though!

Great location, friendly staff & a clean room in a great location.

I can't suggest any improvements for the price I paid.
