The hotel is located near to retail stores, some cafes and local restaurants. It is only ten minutes car journey to the airport. There is a 7Eleven behind the hotel, a C U convenience store about 20metets away and a GS25 convenience store opposite the hotel too. There are bus stops very near to the hotel where you can take buses to the traditional market. There is a 3storey Starbucks, Paris Baguette and Dunkin Donut cafes, Olive Young within 10minutes walk from the hotel. So dining and shopping is a us point staying at the Hotel Shalom.

The rooms are dated and need refurbishment. The carpet in my room had a musky smell. If the hotel has no intention to renovate the rooms, they should at least provide an air purifier in all rooms. Some inconsiderate people had smoked in non-smoking rooms resulted in a room smell of smoke. I had to request for a change of room due to this. The lights in the toilet switched off automatically after a time limit. I was showering once when the lights turned off and the toilet became pitched dark. This is dangerous if one has a faint heart. The lifts have no security system, anyone may walk into the hotel and access the rooms. The rooms' doors come with digital lock, I am not sure how secured are they.

* central location: easy to take the bus to the hotel and also to other destinations since it’s close to City Hall that has many bus connections * the rooms are spacious * the basics are there: small fridge, watercooker, hairdryer, water bottles

* the place is a bit outdated, saw a lot of cracks in the bathroom tiles * staff wasn’t able to help me get a taxi in the early morning, since taxi company that they use didn’t have a car nearby. Luckily, I managed to catch one outside the hotel. The location is good!

the toilet light keeps turning off by itself i think its auto saving feature, or maybe there is button for me to toggle, but i could not find anyway, it was little bit annoying because the light turned off while i was in the toilet, few times

close to airport. taxi costs about 6,000 won. spacious room and nice view. hotel is also close to different bus stations to go to dongmum market, or the port to Udo. I highly recommend this hotel as it is really convenient to go anywhere from the hotel. my room was super nice for the price also. I will definitely come back to this hotel again. and a lot of taxi drivers know about this hotel so it’s a big plus!

Great location with lots of fun things to do around and shopping locations all walkable distance. The staff are very kind and helpfull. Convenience store with a global atm right behind the hotel. Room very clean and big towels.

We slept on futtons which we loved but the floor heating was a bit too hot sometimes and we couldnt figure out how to lower the temperature.

The location is really near the airport so it's good when you got an early flight to catch! Though its not located at the crowded area in jeju, its still relatively easy to get to tourist attraction like the jeju folklore & natural history museum, samsunghyeol shrine and dongmun traditional market!

Staff isn't super fluent in English but still understandable!

The bedroom had an excellent view of the ocean. Ample parking space for tourist. Rooms were quiet despite being near the roads. Room facilities were decent but aged. There were some piping issues with my sink but we changed rooms with no fuss. Great location for travellers with a car and there is a 7-11 store within 15 meters of the hotel. Hotel staff spoke little english but that is fine with google translate (they spoke excellent mandarine which helped). Oh I read that the some hotels did not switch on the air-conditioning during the April-May periods, leaving you to fend against the mosquitos. I specifically chose this hotel because they did not have this policy.

For light sleepers, you might want to sleep facing away from the aircon given it's blue power light is akin to having a mini sun in your room. Otherwise, like me, you cover your face with a pillow and pray you have excellent choice in your roommate(s).

The location of the hotel is very good and it is easy to take bus and taxi. There lots of food and shopping near the City Hall. The Manager Mr Kim is very helpful and friendly. The staff are also helpful in arranging for our transport and query.

The staff were very helpful, especially Mr. David. Right in front of the bus stop where you can travel everywhere. Walking distance popular spots in Jeju.

Clean, very convenient with bus stop right in front and many buses. Gd supermarket right opposite and walking distance to lots of eateries.

The gym....lol... And weird no shower curtain for bathtub!!
