Great location in the new town, near to many eateries and supermarkets. Check in was non face to face, but the responses were quick and helpful. Having a kitchen was great but do note that there are no utensils (at all -- not even cups) or condiments. You can rent them for a fee. We were aware beforehand and brought our own, but you really need to take notice of that. They did provide a kettle, shampoo, shower foam, towels and toilet paper. Also two detergent pods were provided which was helpful. All in all I thought it was pretty good value for money considering the location, size and facilities.

I didn't like the towels provided -- it shedded all over me and I was covered in blue fur after every shower 😂 Also, as mentioned above, those staying should be aware that no utensils are provided except a water kettle, so you should either get your own or contact the hotel in advance to arrange a rental of the utensils for a fee.

Good location that is an 8-minute walk to the Shilla Duty Free pick-up stop for tours. Washing machine and drying rack. Strong internet (check the router for the password). Very comfortable bed. Overall, a small but cozy and warm studio apartment! I would stay here again.

As others noted, there isn't even a cup or plate in the apartment, which could make heating up leftovers or making a cup of tea challenging. There was no hand soap at the bathroom sink. The fridge had a fishy smell, so it could be a good idea to put a box of baking soda to neutralize the odors. Outside of the apartment unit, the hallway was a little dirty/smelly. The washing machine jumped forward while in spin cycle and needs to be attached to the counter or secured to the floor.

The building is called ‘Ocean City II’ (you are welcome - I wished someone left this review) it took us ages to find the correct building. The staff was helpful and quick to response on the app. Not sure why it’s called hide city. However when we did find it, it’s a great apartment and very comfortable stay. Nearby to both 7/11 and nice to cu stores.

They didn’t have any utilities. I think you’ll need to request for it.

A little hard to find location - inside of a big apartment complex. The apartment door lock was jamming and gave us a bit of stress at times. It is equipped with washing machine, which is a great advantage, but no dryer or a drying rack so we had to improvise :/ With that said the apartment was clean and well prepared and met our expectations providing everything we needed for a short stay with intention of seeing as much of the island as possible 👌

Apartment was comfortable enough. Simplistic but decent value for money. Some good restaurants in the area and having a CU downstairs is very convenient

Very difficult to find parking.

The location was excellent.

Every now and then there was smell coming from the kitchen sink but we couldn't figure out why it happened.

The room was modern, comfy, and sufficiently spacious for a pleasant stay, Pre -arrival communication was good.

The one significant disappointment for us was that the 'fully equipped kitchen' was not fully equipped. Yes, it had stove top, fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, and kettle (as advertised() BUT absolutely no cutlery, crockery, cooking pots & utensils, washing up liquid, tea towels, etc. The kitchen was effectively un-usable. There weren't even a couple of cups supplied with the kettle (nor some tea bags or coffee sachets as is common when a kettle is supplied). Never struck this before in decades of travel. Now, it emerged that we could obtain necessary crockery, cutlery, etc, if we paid a further 20000KRW, but there was no prior indication of this on the Booking.com site — we didn't discover this until we had arrived. This isn't good enough. Fortunately, we travel with a simple set of cups, bowls and cutlery, so we're able to make use of the kitchen.

Check in on time since they provide the passcode just before check in time. Wide living area which is comfortable. For amenities, only shampoo & body wash provided. Luckily I have prepared mine. Laundry machine available but no detergent, which I expected to be provided by the accommodation. One of the best things is many towels are provided. CU convenient store is just on the ground floor.

The room was clean and looked like the photos. However, the overall experience wasn’t entirely positive.

It was stated that all information and house rules would be available via a QR code in the room — but there was no QR code anywhere to be found. As a result, we had no idea where to throw out the trash (we had to go outside and search for a public paid disposal area), and we never figured out where the gym shown in the photos was supposed to be. We specifically booked this room because it had a kitchen. In the photos, we saw dishes, cleaning cloths, and a frying pan, so we expected to prepare our own breakfasts. But upon arrival, we didn’t even find basic items like glasses or spoons. When I contacted the property through Booking.com, we were offered a rental set (as shown in the photos) for 20,000 KRW. There wasn’t even a place to put our toothbrushes. No soap, no disposable toothbrushes, or any other toiletries that were available everywhere else we stayed. No disposable slippers or bathrobes either. The room only had some toilet paper, a few towels, and one pair of bathroom slippers. The bedding was uncomfortable, and the pillows were especially bad — our necks hurt throughout the entire stay. About 15 minutes after check-in, a downstairs neighbor came up and complained that we were stomping — even though we were just walking normally and have never had such issues elsewhere. It quickly became clear why: we could hear every step from the guests above us. There is absolutely no sound insulation between floors. We also had a rental car, but parking at the hotel was not allowed. Nearby streets were full, and the only available paid parking was located quite far away. There are several construction sites and many bars in the area. During our 4-day stay, we saw vomit on the street near the hotel twice. Overall, the street felt more like a drinking zone than a comfortable place to stay.
