there's no restroom in the lobby - had to go to another branch to freshen up -- it's a hassle. Also, the check-in is 3pm (no consideration for early check-in)/check out is also early at 11am not the usual 12N standard check-out.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was right in the middle of Myeongdong, and safe to get to at night. Rooms were on the smaller side but there was enough space for 2 big luggages. Breakfast in the morning is a plus. The open space outside the rooms made the stay more comfortable to hang out and eat as there is a microwave and plates/cutlery.

I enjoyed everything

The staff were all friendly and willing to help. The room was clean and warm. I had no problem sleeping and the bed was comfortable. The room had enough pillows and bedding. The bathroom had towels, body wash, and shampoo. The breakfast is self-serve and you can make toast, eat cereal, and have coffee or tea. OYO Hostel also helped me book a taxi to the airport for the next day and helped me move my bags to where the taxi would pick me up.

I took a taxi from Seoul station to where OYO Hostel is, but the taxi could not drop me off near the hostel. The taxi driver was kind enough to help me phone OYO Hostel and showed me where I had to go. I had 3 bags and it was a little difficult to get to where OYO Hostel is. You have to go upstairs before you get to the elevator.

I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week, and my experience was absolutely positive. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Myeongdong Market, a vibrant area full of lights, shops, restaurants, and attractions. Additionally, the metro station and several bus stops are just a short walk away, providing easy access to the rest of the city. There is also the convenient option of taking a direct bus to the airport, which makes traveling even more seamless. The property is clean and well-organized, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is available in the morning, which is a great added bonus. What truly made my stay special, however, was the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and ready to assist in any situation. One aspect I particularly appreciated is that they all speak perfect English, making communication effortless for non-Korean speakers. They are always available to provide recommendations and assistance, and in my case, they even helped me book a tour to the DMZ Zone, showing an exceptional level of hospitality. Overall, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, combined with the great location and quality of the property, made my stay an excellent experience. Hard beds, small towels

I had an amazing stay at the family room I booked! It was spacious enough for the four of us and offered a clean, comfortable environment. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of Myeongdong, making it incredibly convenient to visit all the nearby tourist spots and the MRT station. The hotel staff were outstanding – so helpful and accommodating. They even assisted me with booking an airport taxi, as I had to leave for the airport at 3:30 AM. A big bonus was the free breakfast, which was a wonderful start to the day. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be booking this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended!

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about this hostel. The location, staff, breakfast, and service were all exceptional. Everything was on point, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The location was great - really close to everything you would like to see in Seoul for couple-days-stay! The single room and bathroom are tiny, but alright. Breakfast is good enough with toasts, cereals, coffee and tea. Staff is friendly and helpful. No separate shower area, it is right above sink, so after shower the whole bathroom is wet - as I learned it is pretty typical for Korea, so be prepared. Take slippers with you!

It is not disadvantage but there were lack of single room photos in Booking, so I was a bit surprised at the beginning because it was not what I expected. But overall everything is good.

Location! If you want to explore The Myeong-dong area, this is a great location. Food and shopping is available outside the hotel. Walking distance from Myeong-dong statin. Hailey was marvelous. Our taxi driver got lost, but Hailey went out of her way to meet us a nearby drop off location.She even carried some of our luggage. Great value for money.

There was a strong sewer smell on our first night. The cleaning staff was able to fix this the next day. Don't expect too much for the included breakfast, just cereals, toast, juice, instant coffee. Given the location, you have a great selection of cafes and Korean breakfast joints. Be aware, taxis can't drop you off at the hotel's doorstep. The taxi has to drop you off at the nearby Royal Hotel.
