Approaching guest house I had my concerns, but after spending 8 days there I can highly recommend. I had a small room (single person, it would be to small for even a couple) but it was very clean, and livable for a room that was only 1/2 the price of other options I was looking at. Left more money to eat that yummy Korean food that is plentiful within easy walking distance. This place is out of tourist zone but I'd guess 100 meters to subway that will take you where ever you want to go. The airport bus took me to and from ICN for about $15 ea way. Excellent linier walking path that followed a river close by!

Room was small, A/C was temperamental but didn't really need it during my April stay.

This guesthouse is very nice! Don't pay attention to how the building looks (it might seem unattractive). It is really good inside. It's not brand new and fancy, but very cozy and clean. The instructions on how to check-in were precise. It is self check-in there, and you might not even meet a manager or someone from the staff during the entire stay. And there is no need. You can be there by yourself and find everything you might need including a/c, dryer, fresh towels, etc. The hostel is not big but designed really well. The location is very good too. Seoul Station is not that far and easily reachable by metro as well as Seoul Tower and City Hall and many other attractions. Recommend!

The only minor minus was a mosquito net. It was damaged in couple places, and I had to patch it with some tiny things like pieces of paper or so. Holes in the net would let insects in unfortunately. But that was not that terrible especially after I patched the net.

I've read few bad review abt this hostel, moldy toilet, unclean room..etc. but when i experience it myself, its not bad at all! I have a very great stay here, comfortable bed just enough for me to rest, a toilet n shower, kitchen with cookware, microwave, a washing machine to wash my laundry. Everything was prepared. Its very convenient by the way. Regarding the moldy toilet or unclean room, its understandable though as its not a new building, atleast it is still clean to stay and use. Price is cheap and the location is convenient, bus station and subway station nearby, Convenience store is nearby as well. If you want cheap but expect a luxurious room, this lovely hostel might not for you.

Incredible location, super convenient to get to and from. Amazing staff, so kind and friendly, helpful and welcoming. Has all your basic amenities. Great value for the price. No curfew, can come and go as you please. Wifi works well, AC works well. Check in and check out was very smooth and easy.

It was a bit old and shabby, and only just clean enough. Also the washing machine had a built in dryer that didn’t work for me and I think it may have damaged some of my clothes.

The host of DH is very attentive to your needs. He always replies fast. The location is very good, just few minutes away from Sinseol Dong station Exit 1. Bus stops are everywhere too. You can conveniently use train or bus. Both are very accessible. The price of the room is very cheap. We booked one family room and a deluxe room. We always use their kitchen to cook breakfast. As for my whole family. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location just a few minutes walk from Sinseol-dong metro station exit 1. You receive an E-mail a couple of days before arrival explaining how to enter the property and your room and left alone to your own devices. Lot’s of restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores nearby. Kitchen on the ground floor for cooking your own food with a washing machine for your use. Clean towels can be exchanged daily.

For the price I paid I couldn’t fault it.

i like where the guesthouse is located at, it is super near to train station and with the price, it is hard to find such good location with that price. Many basic facilities are provided, such as water dispenser and fridge.

Behind my room is an alley, so sometimes i can smell smoke when someone smoked in the alley. The whole guesthouse is old hahaha but it's ok as it's just for sleeping purpose, and it is clean, this is unexpected when i first entered the room

The location is good. It is in a quiet lane close to the metro and bus stop. The self check-in and self-service was a unique experience! Self-service included changing our own towels every day, by leaving our used towels in a bin and taking fresh ones from the cupboard, but the supply was unlimited! We had access to hot water for making our tea and coffee 24/7. The host was very helpful. He was always around when we needed information. He helped us with our luggage and walked with us to the airport bus stop when we were leaving. Good value for the price.

The stairs are steep so we had to be careful when we went up and down. The place is clean but a bit run-down.

Good location, cheap, enough for short term traveling. Bunk room on the 2nd floor is comfortable, probably a lot better than single on the 1st floor. Didn’t enter our room and clean up without asking. Enough privacy.

Basically hygienic problems. Smelly toilet and fridge, washing machine is dirty so didn’t use it, security seems to be long slackened, looks like anybody can get into the house. Only provides one key for bunk room.

The bed was small but really comfortable. The staff was so nice and hanged a bag with towels at my door. They even left a paper on the guesthouse's entrance door with helpful informations. There was a heater in the room. The room was small but it was enough for one person. Three metro lines including line 1 and line 2 which are the main ones, next to the guesthouse. Many restaurants, coffees and even a market near the guesthouse.

No view, the hall of the hotel and the kitchen were durty. There is water in the entrance when you shower. The floor and walls suffered water damaged and were wavy. (I suppose).
