it is located just around 2 minutes walk from Dongmyo station (which is station with 2 metro lines), it is also located near one exit that got lift. There are many restaurants nearby hotel. this hotel got 24 hour lobby for check in, which is different from what is stated on booking.com website, which is good for those who arrive seoul late. Hotel lifts are assessed only with room keys so is rather safe. deluxe double room got bathtub and city view. cleanness is fair and acceptable.

the bathtub in the deluxe double room doesn't have any shield so is easy to spill water out to the ground and make the floor slippery, which has to be careful. the water tap of the bathtub is not so good in a sense that, the water comes out can be either very cold or very hot when i just switch very very slightly to the cold/hot side, which is quite inconvenient but i am not sure if this is the problem with the one in my bathtub only, but as i had a very short stay i bear with that. soundproof not very well, i can hear noises from the street in the morning when my room is on 5th floor. this can be a problem for those who are sensitive to noises. Overall design and interiorand the facilties of hotel room don't seem to be very new compared to the price it charges.

I liked that the check-in experience was smooth. Receptionist was able to converse in mandarin which made communication much easier. Delivery of wifi information and room number location was clear and precise. The express check-out experience was also smooth as all I needed to do was to place my keycard into a container at the reception. The room I booked was extremely cozy and comfortable to rest in. Housekeeping staff made sure to provide two bottles of water every day, even though I switched on 'Do Not Disturb' for most of my time there.

There were two electrical outlets in my room for charging of electronic devices, however, only one of the outlets worked (the one that had the conventional Korean outlet, which required a travel plug adapter). Fortunately, I brought a travel plug adapter so I could charge all my electronic devices from that one outlet. It would be good if the hotel staff could regularly maintain and check on the power outlets to ensure they are in working condition for guests. Overall, room cleanliness was good, however there were some dusty spots such as on the TV remote control, inside the mirror cabinet within the toilet, and in certain hard-to-reach corners of the room.

Location is very good, very close to the subway Dongdaemoon station, escaltor and elevator also available on the exit near by the hotel. The staff are very helpful and can communicate in English. In case that you arrive to the hotel before checkin time you can leave till like cash at the hotel with no charge. There are two or three convenience store close to the hotel.

- Check in time is 4 pm which is quite late for first day that the traveler might need to get into the room earlier because of jet lag. - Once you check-out and need to leave the luggage at the hotel for awhile before go to the airport, you have to pay 5000 won for a fee. Anyway, I will strongly recommend this hotel and it will be my first choice for my next solo trip.

This hotel offers excellent value for money in Seoul. It is centrally located in the Dongdaemun area, with many buses and two metro lines stopping there, so you can easily navigate Seoul from here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, have everything you need, the bed is comfortable, the staff are all very friendly and for the price you’re paying you’re just not going to get it better anywhere else. I enjoyed my first time visit to Korea and highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast is lovely and delicious, however, I would only recommend it if you have it included at a good rate, together with your room. Otherwise, they charge 12.000 won for it, which is not a lot of money, but I feel you can use it better to eat something outside the hotel. There’s so much delicious food to try in Korea, if only one can pack an extra stomach! ;)

I highly recommend DM Hotel for anyone planning to stay in Seoul. It's just 2 minutes away from the bus station and 5 minutes away from the train station. The room is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful during our stay. The flea market is just 3 minutes away from this hotel. DM Hotel is close to tourist areas with really affordable rates. It's located in Dongdaemun. We will come back to this hotel again. It's a quiet place, which is good for those who don't like busy areas. We stayed one night in Myeongdong, but we won't go back to that area anymore. It's too busy, and we paid more, but the quality is poor.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and check-in process was smooth. Hotel had many food options and convenience stores nearby. Location was also walking distance from a subway station (Dongmyo). Front desk staff who spoke English/Mandarin were helpful in answering our queries and requests. One Mandarin-speaking staff (likely Taiwanese) kindly explained the airport check-in process at Seoul City Terminal and helped to book a taxi that could fit our 6 luggages on the day of the departure.

Some of the front desk staff who were not fluent in English would try their best not to interact with foreign-looking guests (e.g. look down at the table and not make eye contact, one even continued eating and blowing his nose when listening to our enquiry before telling us to wait for his English-speaking colleague) Some rooms had weak water pressure.

Location is pretty good, few mins from the subway station Breakfast was good actually, among some other things they had tuna salad, goes perfect with the eggs. The milk was NOT sweet which is rare for Korea, so I was happy. Staff is really kind. Had my flight late, so I could leave the luggage during the day after I checked out. Single room was small, but very clean and the furniture was super ok, compared to other hotels where it was old. Had room service and trash pickup for free every day, which started to be rare in Korea. This is so far the best hotel I had in Korea, had a 3week+ holiday in the country, stayed in few hotels so far.

Toilet and shower share the same area, but this is common in Korea, you’ll get used to it after a while.

Clean comfortable room. Was probably best suited to a shorter stay rather than the 2 weeks we stayed as not much storage for clothes etc. Conveniently placed near Flea Market. Easy access to subway. Plenty of places to eat and drink. 24 hour convenience stores were close by. Bottles of water were left in room each day. TV with Netflix.

Would prefer breakfast to go on a bit later, particularly when adjusting to time difference. Extra pillow would have been nice, although I'm sure if I'd asked one would be provided.

The location was excellent, easily reachable from any part of Seoul via subway (two metro lines, Line 1 and Line 6). A lot of interesting things going on near the hotel, such as Dongmyo market, Dongdaemun clothing and shoes market (one of the most affordable options in Seoul).

The room was a bit small - I wish it had a drawer or a closet for my clothes. I had to keep most of them in my luggage. But in terms of bang for the buck, this hotel is a gem for this price at this location.

The hotelroom is spacious, bathroom too, hotel DM location at a reasonable walking distance 15 min of subway, these were the reasons to stay here. The waterbottles every day, the ameneties sponge, toothbrush etc.

The evening before the day we were checking out we asked the frontdesk / reception to book a taxi, as we had a flight of from Gimpo airport. The man of the frontdesk was kind & made a phonecall to inform about the cost of the taxi. He was going to let his colleague know so that the taxi would pick up us at 6.45 hrs am. There was no taxi, when we were ready to leave for airport. At the frontdesk the person working there did not know and had not arranged a taxi. He made a phonecall for a taxi, he did not apologize for it. So we left later. The taxidriver brought us to the wrong terminal, not the international terminal, so we were late at Gimpo airport for a flight to Kansai.
