Great design.

The room was increibly cold for my taste. No matter if you turn off air conditioning, It would always work. I put the temperature to 26 degrees when i arrived and I stayed 4 nights and it never went warmer than 23.1 degrees.

Best beds and full block-out so you can get a really good sleep. On the airport line so definitely one to consider for those flying in/out of Seoul (saves a lot of subway connections with baggage). Extremely comfortable beds and rooms and the aircon never made you feel like you were drying out, like some hotels do.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was large enough for a couple and the layout was very neatly arranged. I love the spacious toilet/bathroom. There's a Blue Bottle Coffee shop in the ground floor. The Hongik Station is about 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. There are various restaurants and shops around, and it is near Red Road, where buskers sing/dance at night. This is near the university area, so you will see a lot of students/youth around. To reach RYSE Hotel from Incheon Airport, you can take the limo bus # 6002; get off at Seogyo-dong Station (then walk 2 minutes to the hotel). The trip is about 1 hour.

During the first few days of our stay, our room's airconditioning was not getting cold. We were there in the summer months, so AC temperature is very important. Since the technician could not resolve the problem, we were transferred to another room, which was cooler and more comfortable.

The hotel is fairly new, part of the Marriott group, fancy design and layouts. Has an awesome cafe in their main lobby - Blue Bottle. Also has a lifestyle store on one of their floors. The room sizes seem to be bigger than the competition, which is a good thing.

I had multiple bookings during my 4 night stay and I had to swap the rooms. I took, one of their expensive rooms for my last night and I got a towel that was dirty. It was too late by the time we showered and saw the state of the towel, we were also too tired after a long day to swap/show or make a deal out of it. The next morning I told them about it, they asked me if I would like to swap the towel. For being a Marriott Gold Member and price I paid for the room, I was expecting a better response/resolution.

The Editors room was exceptional and they upgraded us free of cost for the last few nights as we had decided to change rooms to save money. It's the perfect sized room for a family of three.

Honestly, I have no qualms. It was a most perfect stay. The only feedback I might have for the hotel is to have a limited 24/7 room service as restaurants close early in Seoul. That said the location is great and the concierge is always around to help you out in every way and give fantastic food recommendations.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hongdae, Seoul! The location is fantastic, just steps away from the main street in Hongdae with all its amazing stores, restaurants, and energy. There’s even a Blue Bottle Coffee shop conveniently located on the ground floor, which was perfect for grabbing coffee each morning.

The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, everything about the hotel was good. The only unusual part was that on our first day, the cleaner came to our room at around 4 pm, which caught us by surprise as we were resting inside. As a result, our room didn’t get cleaned for that night. Typically, housekeeping is done in the morning when guests are likely out, so this was a bit of an inconvenience. However, for the rest of our stay, housekeeping arrived in the morning as expected.

The room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out. It had so of the amenities that you could possibly want. The hotel is in a great location and close to the subway station for convenient travel around the city. The area has plenty of restaurants, shopping, and things to do. The staff are great and to the time to help ensure our stay was enjoyable. On check in we received a bottle of wine and snacks and the express check out prices was seamless.

Nothing to dislike

I couldn’t have been happier with the experience at RYSE. I travelled with my husband and 3 small kids and the staff were amazing with us at all times. I will forever be greatfull to them and to RYSE for helping us in the middle of the night to get my baby into an ambulance to emergencies when she suddenly couldn’t breathe properly. It was the scariest moment in our life and they went the extra mile with us. Thank you forever RYSE team and we will be back for sure!!

The hotel restaurant is beautiful and the food is amazing but it closes too early and already, once you order they already bring you the bill which is a little weird, I feel. But other than that all good.

What a pleasant surprise! We loved the bold, modern architecture and the stylish, loft-inspired rooms. Breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of choices. The hotel’s private cinema was a fantastic touch, and the gym was well equipped. Located in the heart of Mapo-gu, it’s perfectly situated with a fun, youthful vibe that our teens truly enjoyed

Check-in is on the 3rd floor (I was informed directly at the entrance) and the staff is very friendly. You're right at the heart of the action and everything can be reached really quickly, Hongik University Station is in the immediate vicinity. The room is really nicely designed; the glass front from the bathroom to the room can be closed with a roller blind. The breakfast offers everything you could wish for - a little bit of everything.

The elevator takes a long time (although there are 3 of them), but the hotel can't do anything about that.
