Dream House is located just behind the main road in Hongdae, about a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station, Hongik University Station, Exit 1. The building has 4 floors with an elevator. I stayed in the twin room for two nights. The check-in process was quick and easy. The bathroom had a large bathtub. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. Two bottles of water were provided in the fridge. Each bed had one pillow. The neighborhood is quiet. I felt safe walking back to the guesthouse at night. This might be one of the best guesthouses in Hongdae with such an affordable price.

Not a big deal, not effect the whole stay just my personal preference that I don’t like the huge old wooden wardrobe in my room. It takes up a lot of space in the room and very close to the bed, which makes the room feel tight. It also feels like the wardrobe has many stories from the past. It’s beautiful, but also a little scary. This could possibly caused some guest who’s not familiar with this kind of furniture feel uncomfortable.

Dream House was our last place to stay before leaving for the UK from Japan. We stayed in a hotel in another place before this. Just stayed for 2 nights but would love to return to stay longer. The room was spacious and the place was very clean. They let us checked in early, use of washing machine was free but no dryer but you can hang clothes in the rooftop as weather was hot. There was a communal dining area but we didn’t use this. Toiletries were provided, the changed our towels daily and tidied up the bed. It’s close to walk to Hongdae shopping street and there’s a restaurant just in front of property (we didn’t dine there). Shops all within a comfort walking distance. Overall, just a cozy place to stay for us- thank you very much.

None really apart from missing a tumbler dryer for a quick turnaround for your clothes. But I’m just being picky

We stay for 12 nights here from 18-30 Nov 2024. We arrived at midnight and the staff is waiting for us. The guesthouse has an elevator, and they cleaned our room daily, replacing the shower and face towels with fresh ones each day. They also provided complimentary mineral water (two bottles), tea, coffee, and a water heater. The room and bathroom are spacious complete with bathub, hot and cold water, and a TV. The bed is very soft and comfortable, making us feel right at home—it’s so cozy. The owners and staff are incredibly polite and friendly. The guesthouse’s services and facilities are similar of a star hotel. The location is also convenient, just a 7–10 minute walk from Hapjeong Station, Exit 2. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Korea 😊

Firstly, the staff/owners were very kind and held onto my luggage as I came early. In the meantime, I walked around, grabbed lunch and enjoyed the nearby shops. The accommodation is also close to Hapjeong station and is also close to all of the shopping streets. The CU nearby is also quite large and has a good array of things in comparison to other convenience stores. I was also pleasantly surprised at just how clean the place was! I sat down on the floor while I was packing my luggage (LOL). I would definitely love to come back and stay at Dream House again.

The bed was the most comfortable and the cleaning staff was flawless I was so happy every time I came Back to my hotel room! The check in and check out is super easy! Love that they have next door a typical Korean restaurant specially when you arrived from a long flight and want something easy to eat but to get in the Korean cuisine! WiFi also super 👌 on point

Easy instruction for late check in and friendly staffs when checkout. The room was quite big (bigger than what I expected), simple and clean. Great location. Within 10mins walk to hongdae shopping areas. Around the corners has great foods and quite a few opens 24hours! Close to transport and some traditional markets. About 45mins from airport by taxi, fairly close I will say. If you are looking for a budget stay or an overnight layover with a bit of sightseeing, I will highly recommend Dream House.

Location was okay, you can either walk 12 minutes or take a bus from the nearest train station. Would not advice walking here if you have luggage and it's snowing. Room was good sized, plenty of space with a working desk, queen sized bed and full sized bathroom. There is a shared pantry near the reception desk with coffee machines and microwave. Mini fridge in the room.

Rooms are not soundproof and when other rooms close their doors, it shakes your own door too. From your room, you can hear people talking in the corridor. Heater or AC was not working in my room. Reception desk had nobody at night, and there was no number provided to call for reception. Location is not the best if you want to walk or take the subway, as you will need to take a bus to get to the subway. Not much nearby on foot.

the room was spacious, beds were very comfortable and toilet was clean with amenities provided. cleaning services were performed every day and we were very comfortable. the staff were excellent, helping us to store our luggage after checkout for a whole afternoon and aiding us with simple things like sorting trash, which was so kind of them

the location is slightly further from the subway exit (in between 2 subway stations), which meant that moving heavy luggages was slightly more challenging, but still doable. the entrance is also not so obvious

This hostel is beautiful and so cozy. We stayed in like five different accommodations throughout our 2 weeks in Korea and Dream House was my favorite! Really cozy interiors and comfy beds. Great location near Hongdae, but not too close to festival street that you are kept awake by the clubs. There's a ton of great cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby - highly recommend Homilbat for bingsu nearby! Also the woman who checked us in was friendly, spoke great English, and was wearing an In N Out t-shirt, which as Californians visiting Korea, we loved to see <3 Check-in and -out was quick and easy.

There is no breakfast offered at the hostel

Dreamhouse is strategically located. It is located near Hongdae but in a more quiet area. Hongdae shopping street is walking distance from the hotel. There are many good restaurants nearbyl. Also, there are two subway stations which are walking distance from the hotel. The facilities are very good and clean. We have a wonderful and comfortable stay. When we go back to Seoul, we will definitely consider this hotel again.
