We stayed in a 3-room apartment that came with kitchen, living/dining, bathroom and washing machine. Simply furnished but we had all we needed and were comfortable. The staff was friendly, and re-stocked supplies midway through our 8-day stay. Easily accessible by metro Line 6 and Line 2. Good base to explore Mapo and the surrounding areas without having to go through central area. Very near to Hangang river, great to enjoy sunrise / sunset while having a run. The Mangwon market is nearby, great to get fresh produce and local foods cheaper than central. Many good restaurants and quaint cafes in the neighbourhood too.

Location perfect. Close to Mangwon Market where you can get food (although most food stalls were only in Korean, fixed by Google translate Camera). Close to Mangwon station 2 min walk from hotel. Let's you get around wherever you want easy. Hotel clerk gave super many recommendations for what to do which was super helpful. Also shared information what places were good and bad. Such as food, shopping, places to visit, what to avoid, recommendations based on weather or environment (like hiking) and many things. Peter Kwon basically doubled down as a Tour Guide which was not something I expected.

The bathroom could have had better lighting. It was hard to see my face since the light was above the toilet and not the mirror. Also would've been nice if bathroom had a separate bathing area instead of using the whole toilet as wetroom. I wasn't used to that but got used to it after a while.

Great budget accommodation. There’s a bus stop right outside the building, and it’s easy to get to Hongdae. A café next door is perfect for grabbing a coffee and breakfast before heading out. It’s a 5-minute walk to Mangwon Station and a convenience store. The Mangwon Market area is also just outside the station. The room isn’t new or fancy, but it’s clean and cozy. You can open two 29" suitcases in the room, which might not be possible in some other accommodations.The staff are friendly and helpful. Mr. Peter speaks fluent English and is very helpful in answering questions and offering useful suggestions to travelers. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for affordable accommodation.

Great location, Mangwon station is a 5 minute walk away, where you can then hop on a metro and get anywhere in the city. The popular neighborhood Hongdae, is a 15 minute walk away, making you quite central but not so close that the crowds and noise become an issue. The shared kitchen space with washing machines (and included detergent for guests) was a useful facility, perfect for late night mukbangs with your friends as well. Although this location may seem like a hotel at first sight, in reality it is more of a hostel/guest house. That is not necessarily a positive or a negative, just something to keep in mind. Overall, this location is a great value for your money. The greatest thing about this location was the warm, helpful and lovely hosts, who truly went out of their way to give you a comfortable stay. Shoutout to Peter!

There were stains on the beddings, however the rooms were mostly clean otherwise.

Location wise, the hotel is very well situated, both subway lines 2 and 6 are very close as well as multiple bus connections near Hapjeong station. In general you get very good quality considering how cheap the stay is: although the interior is a little worn-down, the size of the room (as well as the bathroom) is quite big compared to other hotels/guest houses on the same price range (+ the thing I loved the most: proper hanging space and enough of hangers for your clothes!). The receptionist who works there mainly in the morning + early afternoon was not only super friendly but also spoke English very well - he gave me a proper introduction to the shared spaces and the room itself which was very much appreciated. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who is travelling on a budget (but still appreciates good location and sizeable room), the location is also very safe for solo travellers!

As it's desirable that visitors would sort their waste at least when they eat at the shared kitchen, the sorting system was very confusing as there were no proper signs telling which trash bins are meant for what kind of trash. I also think there was some miscommunication on the cleaning system of the rooms as I understood the towels would be changed as long as they were placed on the floor but this didn't happen until the next to last day of my stay (still the trash bin was always emptied so for sure someone was coming into my room when I was away). Fortunately they equip the rooms with more than one towel at the start of your stay so this wasn't a huge problem. In general, no big mishaps, these were quite small things that I just happened to pay attention to during my stay!

Very cute room, clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning is working. Very welcoming host, she doesn't speak English but is sooo lovely, thank you for your hospitality! There is a kitchen you may use, including free water, washing machine and some amenities. Very well located but yet quiet and you have metro only 5 min foot walk away.

The room smelled a little bad, like someone smoked there before. However with the air conditioning and opening the window it worked. Room quite small and old building so you see that people stayed there before. But for this price we were aware of the situation and if you only need to sleep there it is perfect.

Our room was very comfortable and there was a frame structure to hang your clothes on . They supplied a washing machine and dryer free of charge which is always good when travelling. Location was good for local fish and vege market with lots of local restaurants . Metro and bus stop a short walk away. They also provided table and chairs outside for smokers and for other guests which was a nice place to have coffee and meet other guests . Very obliging hosts.

Mapo - gu is a suburb of Seoul so it took 30 minutes by metro to get to the centre of Seoul so not close to Tourist sites but the hotel rate reflected this .

-Great location -Convenience store around the corner -Mangwon Market really close (we loved to go there and get some food) -Big room and bed -Kitchen you can use -Smoking area -Helpfull stuff. Peter was great, he helped us with so many things. Even went to the doctor with us when my friend got sick. He gave us so many recommondations about food, places, public transports ect. He really was a big help. Thank's again Peter!

The owners were so nice. They even gave us some traditional snacks and offered to make us coffee while we were in the pantry. The room was so spacious. The restroom was super clean. The location is super convenient. There are bus stops everywhere, and the subway station is also near. There is also a Homeplus near the hotel. Upon checking out, I told them that we were going to take the taxi to the bus station since we had a lot of luggage. Then they drove us to the bus station instead and we took the airport bus from then. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much to the owners.
