It is a beautiful hotels in a lovely situation. The Junior Suite was large and comfortable, everything was clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was plentiful and tasty, providing for a wide variety of tastes. Staff were all great.

Our bed setup was not ideal with 2 adults and 2 children sharing just 3 beds. Perhaps replacing the sofa with a sofa bed might have afforded more flexibility. Gardeners did insist on cutting the grass next to the restaurant at breakfast time with petrol mowers but this was a minor irritation.

Beautifully decorated in public areas. Location was quiet . Pool area nice . Beautiful gardens

Rooms little basic and required abit of Tlc Cleaners very friendly but overall staff pleasant but not over friendly eg you could walk past reception and no hello or acknowledgment . Everybody always seemed busy doing something else although very nice if you asked them anything Not many sun beds and had towels on them for hours sometimes but no occupant More info available in the room about the hotel eg food available , bus stops etc

We have stayed at the hotel before so knew what to expect. Our room really couldn't be faulted. It was very big, good sized terrace, excellent bathroom, very efficient AC and comfortable beds. Parking wasn't a problem and the gardens and pool area were well tended. Lots of seating areas around the hotel. The breakfasts were pretty good.

The only hiccup we had was with regard to the half board booking. On our first night we were given the Menu del Dia, eventually . On the other evenings we had a buffet dinner. Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful .

From the delightful receptionist at check-in onwards, it was wonderful. OK, the place is very slightly tired in some areas, but that didn't matter. The room was huge with a fabulous balcony/view and everything you might need in it. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent - why go anywhere else? Breakfast next morning was also supreme - one of the best buffet breakfasts I have seen in years. In terms of value for money, this is the best hotel I have stayed in for many a year...

The carpets in the corridors need replacing, but if that's the worst thing I can say, then this place is truly good!

The reception staff, bar staff and restaurant staff were amazing. Always there to help you and with a friendly smile as well. The setting and whole ambience of the Hotel and grounds was perfect. It had the feel of a 5 star retreat in many ways and we could have stayed another week if we had the opportunity.

Maybe the only negative I could think of would be to offer guests a shuttle service up to the nearby golf course rarther than have guests get a taxi.

The rooms are large and comfortable. Good base to see the area as can get to coast or further inland easily. Restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Good parking on site.

Hotel is a little tired but has been recently acquired and new owners seem to be doing some updating. Our TV didn't work for the entirety of our six night stay.

I like this hotel as it is very convenient for the coast and restaurants but tucked away in Alhaurín.in a more rural setting.

TV wasn't working but I had my notebook and there was fast internet. It would be good to have an internal door between the main door and the room as noise from the reception and communal areas echoes when there are groups of guests.

Really pleasant hotel on the edge of Alhaurin El Grande, an Andalucían market town with ample shops, restaurants and bars. As the name suggests it is next to the golf course and has an excellent pool set in pretty gardens. The hotel food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful.

This hotel phoned twice ahead the time due for payment and requested the credit card security code to take the payment. That was not the terms of the booking and is inappropriate.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel to attend a wedding in a local Villa.It exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money and location. Away from it all on the Costa if you fancy a nice laid back stay. Breakfast was gorgeous with lovely selection and staff were all very pleasant,helpful and friendly. My daughter left a sum of money behind in her room and a very honest room maid handed it in... Rural area but a short walk to garage with a really nice cafe attached to it for snacks,and lunch. There were a couple of other bars and restaurants close by Rooms spacious with lovely view and gardens and pool area were exceptional.

The fact I only stayed for four days

the cleaning staff were absolutely amazing the rooms were massive and spotless. the reception staff were amazing too and so helpful.

the bar ran out of drink and didn’t stock up vodka or beer for two days. don’t think they expected people to be staying around the bar as long as they did. food is nice but quite expensive compared to the cafe 5 minute walk away at the petrol station with was a third of the cost.
