Well positioned in the centre of the village. Hotel was comfortable with adequate facilities. Mini fridge drinks/snacks prices were excellent. Good WiFi. We have been many times before and will stay again at future visits to Mijas pueblo.

We had to wait to 20 minutes to enter the hotel, there were no staff at the property. I think we should’ve been sent email or whattsapp notice for access to the key safe. The person who eventually arrived and let us in showed us our room, she then left. We then discovered there was no water in the room for washing and flushing the toilet. This was resolved after we returned much later. However, we will still return to this hotel as the all round service is normally excellent.

What a delight to have found this accommodation. I attended a wedding in the village and this was the ideal spot. Everything was perfect. I'm now back home in Scotland after having attended my niece's wedding in Mijas Pueblo. I am so pleased with finding this accomodation, it was such a superb establishment. It was just perfect for my stay in Mijas. It is so unique and beautiful. I have been visiting Mijas for many years and was never aware of this property. Now that I have found the Hostal Escudo De Mijas I hope to return and I will be informing all my family and friends how superb it is.

Beautiful location ,central io everything. We found free parking by the donkeys. Good communication in advance by the staff. Room clean, beds comfortable. Key box system worked fine as did not meet any staff during our stay. We loved everything, just ask not to be in room 3 as rather noisy by the entrance.

So unfortunate as we were in room 3, which is right by the front door, meaning you hear everyone coming in & out the Hostal. The bedroom window is by the entrance.with all the key boxes.We had an early flight from Malaga so we're in bed at 8pm so didn't sleep that well due to the noise & banging of the big old front door.

EXTREMELY good value for money. I was pleasantly surprised to see how close to the centre of mijas it was. The air conditioner was also a god send in the heat overnight. It was very quiet in the evenings which made for restful nights. The staff was also lovely and friendly - I left my AirPods in my room and they promptly helped put me in touch with a lost and found service to have them mailed to me!

Perfect for a 1 night stay....or a few nights if you get a room with a balcony. Very clean and comfortable room in the heart of Mijas. In the room, there is a small honesty fridge with water, soft drinks, and beer. In reception, there is a coffee machine (1 euro) and a communal kettle (none in room). Aircon can be warm or cool. This little hidden jem is up a quiet alleyway yet right next to all the bars, restaurants, and shops you could need.

Great place to stay with a cool vibe, right in the city center of the stunning Mijas. The room was big and very clean, the beds are comfy and huge. There is also a minibar with drinks at very affordable prices and a coffee dispenser in the lobby. You are at only 1 min away from bars and restaurants. Communication with the host was great and we received a very accurate set of information. Public parking building close enough and really inexpensive. We had a great time here and would not hesitate to rebook on any other ocasion. I highly recommend!

The place was spotless and was cleaned everyday of our stay so thankyou to the lady who did this also desk staff very welcoming and friendly. Extremely comfortable full memory foam mattresses and pillows which was wonderful after a full day.personally we will be re booking and staying here again. Thankyou for our lovely break.

Only thing we missed was no kettle in the room for that cuppa first thing! there is a coffee machine at the hallway but this isn't a criticism of the place as many now have removed a kettle! everything else tv, hairdryer and things and not sure if an insurance thing now if a child staying.ps all pics are from balcony no internal pics sorry!

Such a beautifully cared for, quiet and clean hotel. It has the classic Spanish look with tiles and warm decor inside, plus the room has all that we needed: spotless bathroom, amazing shower, outlets by the bed, a drinks cooler, plenty of closet space for 2, a comfy bed and a lovely balcony with a glimpse of the ocean! We appreciated the self-check-in process via Booking messages, allowing a flexible arrival time. For people who love the authentic Pueblo feel and walking to all the shops, you’ll want to stay forever

The location was great. Didn't see a single member of staff, so can't tell you about them. The room was clean and quiet.

Both the website and their brochure advertise shower gel and shampoo,shaving products, dental set and other extras. None of these were there, and while it might seem like a small detail, we needed shower gel and shampoo after the hot drive.

Very quiet even though it’s right next to Plaza de la Constitución. I could not hear the crowds of people and music but only had to walk a 20-30 meters to join the festivities on the town. The woman in the reception was very friendly.

There’s wasn’t really any facilities like a washing machine or small kitchen for guests. It’s not wheelchair accessible but most of the town is like this due to its old architecture. There wasn’t really anyone in reception that much so you had to ring if you need something but the rooms were nice and clean with air conditioning so this wasn’t really a problem
