We loved everything, upon arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful two bed, sea view apartment. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped, washing machine and air con/heating were very good. The terrace had a table and chairs and sun loungers. The indoor pool and spa facilities were great, we used them daily! The British tv channels were about 40 channels and brilliant Wi-Fi!

The location is perfect for exploring Mijas, our balcony was huge and gave us great views across the Med and on a clear day we could see Africa. We had a lot of room for just two people in a 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms (although a little dated) are immaculate, one of the cleanest I have stayed in. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The cost is excellent value. We used the apartment as our base to visit the surrounding areas including Ronda, Caminito del Rey and Gibraltar. All easily accessible in a day and then back in time for dinner in Mijas. Parking is available and secure. The pools and facilities are nice. I don't often return to the same place twice but I would book this apartment again tomorrow.

The apartments are spotlessly clean so it is not an issue but the decor is a bit like staying at your Aunties house in the 90s, but given that the average Mijas tourist appeared to be 20+ years older than us I expect this is their style!

Everything! We had a top floor apartment, very sunny balcony, fab views. Very spacious, washing machine, lots of British channels on the tv. We visit Mijas every year and would not stay anywhere else. Customer service is outstanding, clean and very well maintained. The indoor spa, gym and pool are the icing on the cake. Good bed, air con and loved the mid week maid service. Mijas is a beautiful Spanish village which still retains its Spanish character, unaffected by mass tourism. Nothing is too big an ask from the staff, they are very polite and helpful. We will be back soon!

Immaculate apartment and grounds. Super comfy loungers on the apartment balcony for afternoon siesta. Great location. There is a small but steep hill from the hotel into town but this was no issue and we were a group including 6 year old and grandparents.

The on-site restaurant shuts at 6pm so if you are eating there on an evening you have to order by around 5.20pm. For us this was too early to eat so we went out to restaurants in Mijas every night for dinner. This was no problem and there are plenty of options in town but would be nice to eat an evening meal on-site once in the trip if the kitchen was kept open a little later.

One of our favourite hotels in Mijas. Staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Hotel is beautiful, clean, fantastic views, central location, family friendly, fully equipped for day to day living and lovely communal facilities. highly recommended! will be back again next year!

If I was to be picky! It would be nice for the outdoor pool to be heated in the early months of May (there is an indoor pool which is perfect temperature but who want indoor when its 24-28 degrees outside) the restaurant staff are fabulous, the food and drink are lovely and reasonably priced but the opening times aren't great.

The facilities are good with 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, a small gym, a bar/restaurant during the day. There are alot of steps or hills but not a problem for us. The location is so close to the town centre, it is deceptive. Walk out any apartment front and turn left, up a several steps by the side of a hillside restaurant, walk through it and you are in the town! The master bedroom was big, bright and spacious. The electric shutters on the windows were great except if on the sofabed in the living room, no shutters on balcony doors. The town is beautiful. Dishwasher and washing machine are excellent features, pool towels in addition to bath towels supplied in the bedrooms also.

While some might love a jacuzzi bath in the bedroom, it was not a feature we wanted in the room. It results in a toilet and shower that are almost like standing in a wardrobe because of the space taken by the bath. Could be very noisy at times.

The staff were super friendly! The accommodation was spotless and had everything you needed. Including dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder, which is unusual! Towels were provided for the pool too! The view from the balcony was spectacular and the complex was peaceful. I would highly recommend this property to stay in and will definitely return.

There was a cabbage smell in the apartment which is common in Spain, particularly in the busier months, could be quite strong at times.

Very clean, well appointed apartment. It had everything we needed. Excellent Wi-Fi, vg TV channel selection, we even had RTE1, & many other English speaking stations. Lots of sun loungers, 2 outdoor pools. However, I had to use the smaller pool which was predominantly a family & kids pool. The other pool was inaccessible for me, as there were no steps into the pool, you'd to use ladders which were unsafe, especially as I have reduced mobility. The complex was very quiet in the evening as the on site restaurant and bar closed at 6pm. We'd no choice but to go into village each evening for dinner etc. I would definitely recommend resort for families, especially with small kids. However, there's little to do in the village for kid's and nothing for teens. Emirta is ideal if your kids spend the day in the pool. It's a very hilly village, some of the road's are definitely a challenge especially if you're not 100% mobile. TOP TIP, use the lifts in the public carpark around the corner from Ermita to access upper street level and thus avoid a gigantic hill into the village. Highly recommend Indian Palace for authentic food at very reasonable prices, it's just before Diaz Supermarket.

I didn't like that we'd to clean the apartment & leave it exactly as we found it. It was not a cheap week at €1,140.00, we were unhappy that there was no cleaning service for the week, including change of towels, bed linen etc. These were available, but at an additional charge! Plus we'd to provide credit card details in the event that the apartment wasn't left in pristine condition. The restaurant was closed on Wednesdays.

We absolutely loved our stay here it is in a fantastic location with amazing views. The apartment is spotless clean with everything you would need if you wanted to cook or wanted to wash some clothes , the main bedroom was very spacious great large bed with a jacuzzi bath in the room and ensuite toilet and shower. It was a very relaxed chilled place lovely little restaurant serving nice fresh food. It's only a 5 min walk to the town. Which has a huge selection of restaurants and cafes and bars and lots of lovely shops. 10 out of 10 we would definitely return. The views from the balcony are amazing as is all around the pool etc.

Amazing views and location just a few minutes walk to the centre of Mijas. Well equipped apartments and big balconies. Great air con in our apartment, Picasso 4. Only saw reception once but very friendly staff there.

Temperamental showers which could get very hot if not careful and inadequate design so floors got very wet. Lovely deep pools but a bit tired round the edges and quite unfriendly life guards. Despite our grandson wearing a sports top in the pool for the first few days to protect his shoulders from the sun, he was then told it wasn’t allowed.
