Lovely building with atmospheric courtyard and great location in the old town with large balcony - super views up past renaissance museum building to the Moorish Alacazaba on top fo the hill. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - and having the garage there was a bonus.

The room was quite small for two of us - nowhere to put luggage easily. But the bathroom was great! Shame that the main road runs right beneath the hotel and the car fumes were a bit smelly - and so we couldn't take advantage of the lovely large balcony as much as we'd have liked.

My kids and I have stayed in Casa Viejo for 3 nights and loved it there! Its very central. shops (also bio), bakeries,restaurants and the market place are only a stone throw away as are the fortress. Its a typical old building of the area and the courtyard is a beautiful place to have breakfast in or sit and chat or have a tea. We felt welcome and safe! It would have been even more wonderful to being able to get breakfast there .. but the little fridge in the room did help, to store some food. Rooms are just wonderful. Its an old shool hotel - we loved the view out of our window + the bath tub! We ll for shure return there if ever we come back to Antequerra!

Its a bit pricy, but worth the pay as it seems like a family run business and not a faceless hote of a chain where usually every room looks the same and noone cares about the guests.

We actually stayed for three nights the town is lovely plenty to see. We changed rooms after the first night to one with a window over the court yard. The typical Andalusian court yard is lovely to sit in. The hotel is in a good location in the centre of the town but easy to get to from the bus station.

Our room for the first night was small with no window you needed the light on. It had a strange smell too. There was nothing wrong with the second room.

We spent a couple of nights in the hotel to explore the town. The room was clean and comfortable and there is a very attractive lobby area by the reception desk. The location in the old town, the monumental district, was excellent. The Alcazabar is within easy walking distance, although steep! There are also bars and restaurants close by with the Bullring and the bus station about six or seven minutes walk.

Perfect location in the centre of Antequera. A beautiful, well maintained old Andalusian house. Lovely views from the exterior balcony. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful, made me feel very welcome. A great base for exploring Antequera and all it has to offer.

The Wifi signal was a bit weak.

Small hotel located on Coso Viejo square. Very well located for the town centre, all sites such as Alcabaza, Collegiate church, Town Museum, plus about 30 other churches. The Dolmens and Torcal de Antequera are a short drive away. There are many small supermarkets nearby for last minute supplies.

Lovely historic property with really helpful multilingual reception staff and we were able to get secure parking (for a fee ) at the hotel. The room was basic but clean and comfortable- we were paying budget prices- suspect they may have better premium rooms but this was perfect for a one night stay right in the heart of the town. The secure onsite covered parking was a real bonus. A restaurant next door was good value- indeed everything in Antequera good value compared to the inflated tourist prices in other Spanish cities. On street parking would have been difficult.

Great position in the old town. Loved the traditional Spanish decor. Lovely atrium for guests to use. Good value for money. Staff were very helpful.

Room was a little cramped. No tea making facilities in the room, though you can make tea or coffee downstairs in the atrium/lobby.

We liked the furnishings and the ambience of our room. The hotel is located in central Antequera but was only 16-17 minutes walking distance to Dolmen de Menga, a nearly 6000 years old tomb complex. We loved the hot bath after a long day of train ride and sightseeing.

The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast. We had to go to a cafeteria for breakfast. We stayed in room 101 which faced the Plaza Viejo square and was noisy with Christmas Eve songs, etc.

It was the type of typical Spanish hotel I wanted. Simple but perfectly clean and functional. The private garage was a definite selling point.

Because the room was situated at the front of the hotel, and the hotel faced onto a busy road, it was quite noisey at any time day or night.
