Our stay at Catalonia Park Putxet was excellent. The staff were very professional and even gave us a slightly better room than we had booked. Since it was during Sonar Festival, there were lots of young people staying, but the hotel handled it well — they told us to report if there was late-night noise, and they made sure guests respected the rules. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh coffee and water left for us, which was a nice touch. The location is also good: it’s about a 15-minute walk to the metro and around 30 minutes on foot to Parc Güell. The only thing to note is that the walk up to the hotel is a bit uphill, but nothing unmanageable. Overall, I would happily stay here again with no hesitation.

The only small downside is that the hotel is uphill, but honestly, walking is part of the experience in Europe and especially on holiday, so it wasn’t really a problem.

Staff was very friendly. Room was roomy by European standards and well-equipped. The breakfast cost 15 Euros but we thought it was well worth it. The food was varied and tasty. Given the distance from downtown it was good to start with a full meal.

The location is the only minor hitch. Metro and taxi stops are several blocks away and it's another 20 minutes or so to the main part of the city with the key attractions. When you leave the hotel you go downhill but when you come back at night it's a fairly steep uphill climb. IMHO though, the price break counteracts the inconvenience.

My son and I were lucky to stay on a freshly renovated floor. Our room was very cozy, stylish, and beautiful! At the same time, our friends were staying one floor below, and unfortunately, both the floor and the room there were quite old. The interior wasn’t as nice, and they had some plumbing issues… And all of this for the same price we paid. So it seems like a bit of a lottery which room you end up with — some are clearly newer and much nicer than others. As for the location – we really liked the neighborhood. It’s a bit away from the main tourist spots, but we were still able to walk everywhere easily. Sagrada Família wasn’t too far, and Park Güell was also within walking distance — not right around the corner, but not far either. One thing to note: the hotel is located on a hill, so if walking uphill is a challenge for you, keep that in mind when returning to the hotel.

It was wonderful, the staff was so helpful and friendly. They gave us a big room and we paid for a normal room that doesn't have a kettle. Still they didn't ask for paying extra. It was exactly like its photos. The only thing that was bothering me and my mom was the location, it was a 4-5 min walk from the metro station and 5 min walk to the bus station, but it was far from the city center and good locations in Barcelona. It was 1 hour away from the amusement park and the beach by bus. But i still recommend this hotel to everyone bc of its cheap price and a nice, comfortable room.

The greeting by Roberto on arrival was fantastic. Such a nice man 😊. He made us feel so welcome. Good location for exploring Barcelona. The staff were incredibly helpful. Great value for money in quite an expensive city.

We we're a little disappointed that the rooftop swimming pool was undergoing maintenance. But to be honest, we were more disappointed with Booking.com for not keeping their online hotel facilities listing updated and for not notifying us in advance of our stay as a year round open pool was a filter criteria when searching for a hotel and one of the main reasons we chose Catalona Park Putxet.

The facilities in the Hotel are very good - the room was very generously sized and there are plenty of spaces to relax elsewhere in the hotel. The rooftop pool and lounging area are especially nice and perfect for sunbathing/swimming with gorgeous views of the city towards the sea. There are also comfortable seating areas in the reception as well, with a vending machine and room service to cater to any immediate needs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful when it came to any questions or checking in and out. The property is only short walk away from the nearest Metro station with many cafés and supermarkets en route, and the journeys to any tourist areas from the nearest station are very quick with easy connections. It is also within easy walking distance of Park Guell. I highly recommend the hotel for its facilities, especially if you would like to be in a quieter neighbourhood than in the tourist centre of the city.

I was charged for one night's stay around 10 days prior to our check in date but received no prior notice of this, nor confirmation that this payment was received or what it was for. On the Booking.com reservation, it was confirmed that we would pay at the property with no mention of a prior deposit being required. I understand that this is a common procedure and it was eventually confirmed on arrival that we had successfully paid for our first night already; however, it was quite alarming to see money had been taken with no formal notification of this.

We had a good stay at this hotel .They gave us an early checkin and let us checkout a couple of hours late. The breakfast was good with a good size menu ,the fresh orange juice was so good we enjoyed it. Staff were good and polite. They gave us a few adapters to use. Luciano was very helpful , he got us a table fan as it got really hot in the room . If you want to buy sim cards the shops are close by. Complimentary drinking water was given on day1 (given that no other hotels gave complimentary drinking water at all)

Its quite a walk from the train station especially after a long tiring day . A few extra plug points will help . The glass door to the bathroom without a latch !

The room was quiet and clean, the bathroom surprisingly large, there was a very large TV which I never used, the desk was good for working, but not very large. The beds were comfortable, the cabinets provided plenty of space. Electrical sockets were placed in the perfect locations. The breakfast was extraordinary! Large selection of local and international specialities, fresh fruit, a machine that pressed super fresh orange juice on the press of a button. Very impressive.

The location was a bit off. The next metro station, the next cool bar of restaurant were all a good walk out. But still reachable by foot.

Kids loved the roof top swimming pool at the end of the day. 2 double beds + twin bed was more than enough to accomodate the familly. Personal was very friendly specially at the bar where we took breakfast with kids. Bed very confortable. Staff very nice and helpfull.

Breakfast too expensive 15 eur per pers. specially when your kids do not eat a lot. So we did not tried it. We just took some coffee and colacao each morning at the bar. Room was quite small.

The staff was very friendly. Rooms and hotel in general were very clean. Breakfast was great, a lot to choose from in my opinion. The metro station is at a walking distance of ten minutes.

The bedframe was on wheels, so the bed sliding, if you wanted to lean on the wall e.g. to read. The pool area an d the pool itself were rather small, but since I prefer the beach, I didn't spend much time there. The walls of the buildung are thin, so you would here your neighbours, even if they were only talking in a regular volume. But there wasn't excessive noise in general.
