the hostel felt very cozy and familiar, the staff is absolutely adorable… i stayed for 2 weeks and a half and i almost didn’t want to leave at the end. staying in a hostel allows you to encounter so many beautiful personalities. it was my first solo trip and i couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay at. the kitchen has everything required to cook, the beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and truly makes you feel at home, the place is clean, smells SO nice; breakfast was really good too , i think i got addicted to their orange juice now ahah. the hostel is close to park guell which is really convenient, you also can adventure yourself in a little hike to go to the bunkers and enjoy a beautiful view on the whole city, it looked absolutely marvelous. the memories i created there are gonna be stuck in my head for the rest of my life, if i go back to barcelona i will definitely book again there ! i had the best time ever, i would definitely recommend.

little ick but nothing dramatic. if you stay in the 10 beds dormitory, the water doesn’t get through the shower hole properly. i think hair got built onto the hole so it might have gotten clogged which isn’t the best bc while showering you have a little paddling pool which isn’t the best since dirt might build up (cuz the dirt cannot be rinsed properly bc of the clogged shower)… that’s the only thing i could pin point other than that it was perfect !

We arrived at the hotel exhausted and quite late—1:30 AM to be exact. Despite the late hour, the staff greeted us with kindness and politeness that immediately put us at ease. Without any additional fees, they accommodated us with a positive approach that made us feel truly welcome. The facilities were immaculate. Every necessity was at our fingertips, making our stay incredibly convenient. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable that we fell asleep almost instantly. It felt like a home away from home.

Room was very clean and comfy, a/c was nice and also the little terrace outside the room. Staff was super friendly, they offered me a beverage as soon as I arrived and helped me up with my luggage.

If anything, it would be the cleanliness of the shower. But maybe that's because I'm very picky with that. Anyways they offered complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash which was very kind of them. Overall it was a great experience, definitely would come back!

We were 6 girls booking one room for 6 people. They separated us even though they didnt have to, we were 4 and 2 and we could just switch with the two people in our friends room but the staff said we couldnt. We didnt want to throw a fit at the receptionist because its not at all her fault but it made our visit a bit more difficult.

Facilities were great kitchen bathrooms etc. the beds were clean and comfortable

We had an early flight so with the hostels location out of the centre it took a while to get to the airport bus. Unfortunately the metro closes from midnight

the hostel was a great experience which I highly recommend for budget travellers. Staff were exceptional in the services they provided and facilities were at a high standard. Kitchen and lounge areas were very aesthetic which made the overall experience more enjoyable.

Beds are very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, overall facilities are great. The location is good, it's very close to Parc Güel, but a little bit far from other major tourist spots like Sagrada Família. However, the city is beautiful, so if you're like me and enjoy a long walk for sightseeing, you're all set!

The structure is great. Nice kitchen, spacious terrace and a great working room. Wi fi worked nicely. The room was very comfortable with a good mattress and nice blackout curtains, big windows and a cute little dressing table with a mirror for the girls. The private bathroom in the room was also spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is very complete and affordable for what it offers, food is fresh and coffees and beverages are great. All the staff girls are super welcoming and lovely people. I was there during the Spanish Blackout and everyone was very helpful through this stressful event. Overall my stay at Factory Hostels was amazing and I would definitely book it again.

I didn’t really enjoy the neighborhood, it’s very quiet and a bit far from everything (30-40 minutes by public transport). The shower has an automatic stop after a few seconds and you have to keep pressing it, a bit annoying but it’s manageable and I understand it is to save water. The facilities are cleaned daily by the cleaning staff but sometimes it was very superficial and fast. A deep clean once a week would be nice, but even so it never felt or looked dirty. Also don’t really love the bracelet system to enter the rooms, a card or keys would be nicer and easier to keep in a bag. I was worried I would lose the bracelet at any time lol.

I loved the chilled vibe of the hostel, the common areas are super cosy, kitchen well equipped and the staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is simple (bagel/pastries, coffee, yoghurt), but delicious, and there’s no official hours of serving, which is great, when you have to leave early :) Beds are super comfy and the fact that they have curtains is another level of comfort!

Finally my experience was great, but first I got checked in a windowless, stuffy room with some mold on the ceiling and only when I claimed that I was definitely booking a bright room with a window, I got moved to a nicer one. I also booked female dorm, but on a first night there were two guys (super nice ones, but still). So there seems to be some mess in the system and the hostels’s profile here lacks information that some rooms do not have windows (quite essential info). I still recommend it, but just make sure you get the room with ANY view 🤡

Located in a beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood 10 mins away from Park Guell and in the lovely neighborhood of Gracia. Friendly, helpful staff and a functional kitchen that was kept clean. Lots of common space to hang out in, including outdoor terraces. Laundry service that was very affordable (3€) where you drop off w reception and get it back clean and dry later that day. Beds came with privacy curtains and an outlet and 2 USB-A slots. Our booking came with free breakfast which included a hot drink, a small yogurt, orange juice, and a food item of our choice (slice of cake, croissant sandwich, bagel sandwich, etc). Other hostel visitors were generally very respectful, quiet, and friendly, though obviously that changes depending on who is there.

The cleaners were very diligent, but also used prolific amounts of room freshening spray. It made some rooms unbearable to be for an hour after cleaning, and the artificial smell was present in many spaces throughout the property. The property is uphill, on a very steep street at the top of a neighborhood on a hill, so there is a steady uphill walk from the metro every time you come home. We didn’t mind it, but something that’s good to know if you have limited mobility. The neighborhood is definitely busy with tourists during the day but is generally quiet at night. Many common spaces play music at all hours, except for the outdoor terraces and open chillout gaming space.
