Really enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. La Palacete was in a good location, it felt nice to be in the midst of a city neighbourhood with good links across the city. Really liked the layout of the suite with all of the facilities we needed for a short stay. Really appreciated the terrace area. The communal courtyard was also a nice relaxing space. Responsive and helpful staff who could be reached via the app/whatsapp.

The suite could have benefited from better lighting. There weren't many lights and the lights that were there didn't illuminate the space very well. Think the room could have also benefited from better sound proofing, our room was on the road and you could really hear a lot of the noise from the street level and the movements of other guests coming into the reception area which was directly below. Not too much of a problem but something to consider.

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional, with everything meeting or even exceeding our expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, featuring comfortable beds and pillows. The location is fantastic, between Sagrada Familia and Park Güell in the artistic Gràcia neighborhood. A special mention goes to the incredibly helpful and friendly staff, as well as the efficient online customer support. While the hotel operates largely through digital interactions (via their app or WhatsApp), the team was always available whenever we needed assistance. One important note: breakfast is not served at Le Palacete but at another hotel in the same group, La Casa Del Sol, about a 10-minute walk away. We were informed well in advance and even offered a refund if we preferred not to have breakfast there. We chose to go, and it turned out to be a great experience. However, for those who may not want to walk in the morning, this is worth considering. Lastly, extra praise for the breakfast staff, who provided excellent service and even remembered how I like my coffee by our second visit!

Nothing really. If I had to pick on something, it would be that the breakfast could have offered a few more options such as local Catalan delicacies and products. However, that's really just a matter of personal taste-I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.

We loved the space and the historic vibe of the building which still had modern comforts and features. Eg lift, kettle, fridge. It felt authentically Barcelona rather than being in the more ‘modern’ hotels. Great vibe in the neighbourhood.

Tissues are always useful when available; a bigger ironing board would be handy; a powerpoint closer to the kettle and coffee makers OR longer cords on the appliances. But these were very, very minor things. Checkout was a very convenient process! Staff were friendly and communication was good.

Although you don't meet any of the staff (self check-in and check-out) they were very helpful and reachable via Whatsapp. I liked how spacious the room was, with the terrace which are quite rare in Barcelona. Bathroom was also so nice and big, even nicer than the pictures. It had a panorama ceiling that I did not expect, but didn't mind as there were no windows visible around to breach any privacy. The area is nice & calm, mostly locals and away from all the touristic crowds, great place to see a more local side of the city and practice your Spanish :)

Nothing comes to mind. I was a little bothered that check-in time was 4pm, but I arrived at 1:30pm with a lot of luggage, and they offered me the room at that time since it was ready, which I appreciated.

Great location, very well stocked with kitchen equipment, so I could prepare food for myself -- the toaster was very useful. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful when they came.

Lack of personnel to help incase of problems, e.g the room key was tricky to operate. The room was a bit airless, though the Heating A/C worked well. I couldn't find a hairdryer. The deposit in case of breakages was too high.

A very quiet location yet steps away from lively Gracia. The outside space is a real bonus and would be even more so during the hot months. The building is old and beautiful. The terrace was not at all overlooked. Fridge was handy for fresh milk. Staff were helpful and unobtrusive.

The online booking system didn't work first time so check in was time consuming

Our breakfast was cancelled prior to arrival with an option offered at another Sonder hotel 10 mins walk away but we found that inadequate, especially at the room price. Perhaps it was a season thing. Unnecessarily complicated registration process required. No staff at the premises. Quiet, but a bit out of the way.

My girlfriend and me really enjoyed the stay. Beautiful apartment, great breakfast and the women for the breakfast was super friendly and kind. We loved our stay and felt very welcome. Easy and convenient check-in and check-out system.

- Check-in from 4pm onwards is a little late - Not a lot of privacy with the open bathroom

Excellent location for a single night in the city. Ate dinner in the square around the corner and really enjoyed ourselves.

The kettle boiled over throwing water over the electric plug on the counter even though it wasn’t even half full and I picked it up as soon as I could after boiling. The fridge did not get very cold overnight (and yes the room electricity was on).

An old building with a beautiful and calm courtyard. The street outside is calm, and the soundproofing inside sufficient. The area is very nice with a lot of good restaurants and bars. Comfortable bed and clean room.

There is no seating area in the room. Only one chair in the bathroom. The chat service with Sonder doesn't respond right away.
